The God Wars
What is this? This is a FFA(Free for all) Event in PvP. The variation on this will be that it takes place inside of God Wars Dungeon.
This event won't be a straight out Free for all. Here is how it will work. Four Teams are only allowed to carry the protection of their god and only that god. Any team can attack any other team. Everyone must risk at least 76k. Also I may want to make a charging from all four corners kinda pic at the beginning before we start. There is another catch to this whole scenario... There will be one player on each team that can't leave the area of their God. This player must stay alive or their team loses. This player will be called the tank, the tank must live or the team is forfeit and the surviving team minus the tank must join the other team. In other words remaining players on a defeated team become part of the team that killed their tank. Try to protect your tank or hide them at all costs! Be sure to switch ts channels if you get pulled into a different team. You can't attack your own team members. The team that survives while the other team's are killed wins. Annihilating the whole team besides the tank counts as a victory as well. The one that wins will be the victor of The God Wars. No gear restriction, raid gear recommended. Teamspeak. We will need to communicate to be organized. Swear Allegiance to a God...
Time&Date Saturday August 14th at... 8 pm GMT 3 pm EST 12 am PST 5 am (Sunday) AEST I suggest forming the team early so you can devise your strategy. Gear will be important and you have a full week to figure out your set ups. We'll see based on the day of the event whether we use every room or not. Based off agility mostly. Have fun forming teams! Heres some helpful quests for that protection as well... Arma Pendant Temple of Ikov 1 hour Bandos Protection As a First Resort Trollheim Teleport Eadgar's Ruse Also don't forget a grapple and hammer! You need those to get into bandos/arma areas. Sara you need rope(3) if you haven't been to GWD before. About 3 ropes, do it before the event. |
Took a long time to mass, we pulled about 12 people. We decided to do just two teams this time around, 6 on each.
I was on team arma with Sativas, Pyro, Haunting, Oh No Sabre and David. Good team there but the other side had a couple raid leaders with Darth, DZ, Jouke, Zeroboards, Markenzie and Light Sabre.
We camped the Arma tunnel for a bit then Darth pm'd me asking if we were starting. I said yes then the fight officially began.
It was a battle of mostly territory, so we stuck to our base for bit. However we moved to bandos to throw them off a bit. When they charged we had good piles and took their food out quickly.
Overall it was a good event but next time each side probably needs a few ancients to make it more interesting.

Its a FFA battle between us in a pvp world at the god wars dungeon. If you or anyone else has any specific questions feel free to ask!

Eh our TS was fun, sorry the event wasn't as interesting to you.
Any ways that you think this event could be improved?
Its usually more fun/chaotic with 4 teams but didn't happen this time.
