To do with Cwar warring

Clan Capes:

Well the importance of clan capes goes beyond than just showing that we are one clan. The point of using a team cape instead of orange or red cape or whatever is that it gives us the chance to 1 click attack/1 click bind! This makes finding the pile MUCH easier especially to people with lower cb lvls. Don't say train your cb as even a 126 would have trouble 1 click attacking another 126! It just overall improves pile power and efficiency.

This is disappointing as I've seen even fall in leaders wear Skill capes etc. This means a lot of us has to right click the area, look for the pile name then left click, instead of 1 click attacking/binding. Which obviously doesn't help our side. If fall in leaders need to stand out they can use rune(g) trimmed etc

Rune plateskirt NOT rune platelegs:

This is fairly simple....skirts weigh less...why is that good?
1) you're run energy will last longer
2) You can tank longer
3) follow the pile easier
4) You can pretend your william wallace and feel cool king.gif

Agreed. The team cape and rune plateskirt are part of the req armour to be worn yet people are still wearing the wrong armour. Good job in pointing it out to everyone smile.gif

Ironically, I've told people this 20 times before to no avail.

Your probably going to have to right click attack 95% of the time so...

I'll keep wearing a pink cape, thanks.

Even if rune (g) does stand out, the truth is that, in my opinion, skill capes do stand out more.
This is because they arch way above the neck of the character and overall ... they just stand out neko2.gif

This is just my opinion though...

I came up with the idea of using a POH banner for calling fall-ins. Fall-in leaders have one in their inventory, and after a pile is done they step to the side and equip the banner. These banners are by far the tallest item in the game which makes them incredibly easy to spot. When everyone sees the banner, they can just right-click it and follow.

Yeah true, but I've tried it out on the raids I've led and it works fairly well, so a P2P option, considering P2P is more of a clusterfuck with all the different styles and everything. In F2P for the Megaraid, I had all the fall-in leaders wear 'bucket' helms (Rune H1, etc) - that could be considered as they're fairly cheap.

I'd find a skillcape much faster than a helm. :/

Your post is under 10 words. Not sufficient by WG standards.

The only people that should be wearing any other cape in F2P are fall in leaders. They wear whatever they choose to stand out from everyone else. While they might be on top of the clicks, we should know their names pretty damn well to be able to recognize not to attack them. Also, there should not be that many of them that are out, so even if we had all of the fall-in leaders in the same DD as the opposing clan, it shouldn't push out too many of their options.

Sometimes it benefits me seeing what my leaders are doing and where they are going, because frankly, I get lost with some of the calling and such. I know for sure that I can follow them because they have enough experience to know exactly what they are doing.

I can agree to the rune skirt. But I find the pink cape really easy to find too.

If I am not sure where the pile is, then I follow someone I trust to take me to it. Usually that works pretty good. Works for fall ins too. Just be careful not to follow one of our snipers like Joe. lol

"I'd" is a contraction of "I would" which is 2 words, so he technically is ok.

But to be honest, all in all we really shouldn't be worrying about this. Ok, all team capes allows us to left-click and attack the pile. But how do we know we're attacking the right person and not just someone else on their team? Especially if our pile is in their fall-in. Who honestly doesn't left-click and choose the "attack name" option? Because I RARELY left-click, unless it's a very small fight.

I'd say the skillcapes are fine for the moment. WG is good at piles, but we're not amazing at fall-ins, so let's keep a balance on advantages.
