[Recap]TS Clan Meeting[Updated]

We held a TS clan meeting tonight with some really great attendance.



I got the second half of the meeting attendance. So if you have the others or are not on my list please post.

We started off with 40 minutes of discussion about the clan in general. Vephyrus lead this part of the meeting. I was able to get my mic working part way through this and they updated me. Then Gene came on to continue with discussion.

TipIt Warring

We have an August 25th war request that needs responded to. Our general thinking is that these wars have been going well. We are planning on a big war on Sept 26, which is 3 months from our Turning of the Tides. This upcoming war will be huge and Gene will be arranging it. We are thinking BK, Glades, THE or maybe some allied combination. We may be also including our allies in this huge war. The thought is that it will be a p2p war but Gene will be leaving f2p option open. We need to do more f2p warring if we want to say we are both.

Other upcoming events

Discussion of some other events were Boss hunting, God Wars, and a Dragon Pickaxe event.

Attendance to Event/Raids/Wars

Our attendance seems like it could be a little better. It is thought that maybe 20% of the clan could try a little harder to come to things. We feel as our numbers grow attendance will be better. We have time zone issues more than skippers. With our casual attendance rules, we are at our maximum attendance. Some members are a little irritated with the constant flow of pm reminders to attend events. The mega raid came up as a topic of problems with yes, no and maybe. We no longer will have a maybe area on sign ups. This was a huge mistake.

Vephyrus has come up with a system in lvl 3 that tracks all wars/raids attendance and what you say you will do and what you actually do. It is not some secret just something that we have started to help with activity checks.


The Pens

Gene's idea has really taken off and we are getting many new intros. We need to all be adding them as they intro immediately to our friend's lists. If they don't join you can easy take them off in a week or two. Let's make them feel welcome in the community. We are happy the intros are coming in a nice steady way and not overwhelming us. We think the pens will bring us about 20 to 30 members.

Suggestions Included:

1. Auto Tools for our intros and applications.

2. A rules check box.

3. Moving the intro and applications to under IA on the forum.

4. Having members post their suggestions of how to improve the application process in the suggestion forum.

5. Be careful of how you let staff know your issues. It may be seen as trolling if you post it in a negative way. We are all approachable and will try to help with issues and rants you may have.

6. Post more on fansites to get our name out in the public. Our raids and small run ins the wildy could make us a little more known. A lot of times clans are ranked not only for strength but how often they go out in the wildy.

7. Plan on attending the IRL in Australia on Dec 18th. It will be a road trip to remember.

8. We need to kick RBH in the butt. They are trolls basically. lol

Gene has 26 WG Clan T-Shirts to send out to JMods.

I was there for a short while.
Had to leave a few minutes after it started however, I have cleared this with Rachel.

Was a good meeting, covered everything in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to having one of these massive wars, can i suggest replacing the allied raid time slot for it?

If it's during the weekend I'm sure no-one will have problems attending for sleep related issues.

I'm really happy the RuneFest meeting went great for the benefits of our clan. Also looking forward to the big war

Blah. I'm kind of upset I missed this. I even was able to get off work with my dad yesterday! Instead of 7:00 we got off at 4:30, but unfortunately I still missed it. It does seem however like you guys did a lot of good stuff and I figure that I will be able to maybe get to the next meeting. And I would like to know more about this RBH thing please.

Shame there isnt any GMT's there. That i can see..
