Critical Levels
By His_Lordship on 12/09/2010
Alright, this is it.
I've had enough of our community degrading.
The leadership is going to go Nazi now.
Any trollers will be issued with warn levels right away.
For new members this is how the warn levels work:
20% warn = No further punishment
40% warn = no further punishment
60% warn = 3 day suspension
80% warn = 7 day suspension
100% warn = expulsion
We're turning into an RSC community, where it's EXPECTED for someone to post a flame bait - just for the amusement of reading.
That supportive, loving community is vanishing.
Every day, members are getting ruder and ruder.
Take this topic as your last reminder to pull back,
The leaders are getting very, very annoyed.

Alright. I accept this. I agree with this too. It has slowly degraded everything of ours. If you want post count, then earn it by making a constructive post.

You already know my views on this.
By Flame Reece on 12/09/2010
I understand where you are coming from, but can we have some examples/scenarios in this post as well just to show people what you mean?
It's always been an issue, even from years ago, things get enforced but slip a bit. Good to see it's getting not getting too far this time

Gene has some very good points here. I have to agree.
By Dorcha3377 on 12/09/2010
I agree on being positive rather than negative.
By Back to Own on 12/09/2010
Thank you, this has been long overdue
By Mark on 12/09/2010
I also agree, and thanks for clearing up warning levels as I was just about to look them up (wasn't quite sure).
I'm going to start looking into RSC right now.
By Tnuac on 12/09/2010
Definitely. People need to know where the line is and when they've gone past it. Good work

Alright, I'll only troll in the House of Random now
By Indivi2you on 12/09/2010
Damn not Nazi Staff again... I hate this era.
Lets see is anyone trolls this topic lol.
By Mmangler on 12/09/2010
I can well see the need for this post but I find the line between trolling, joking and commenting to be blurry at times. In the past, I have seen posts that seem to be offensive but are in fact two or more individuals just joking around and then there is the rare instance where a comment is taken negatively--the law of unintended consequences. For example, the use of Nazis was used for emphasis and I took it as such but there is a very negative association with Nazis that I find offensive but not when I look at the underlying intent.
Now, that I have expressed my thoughts I believe that this means no one can troll Joe or can we still joke with Joe not intending to troll him or is the line to fine to see?

ye well fair enough
By George on 12/09/2010
My first post didn't go through...
I totally agree with this Gene.
It's getting to a point now where some members don't feel like they can post on the forums anymore, because of fear of being trolled or no one taking the time to post seriously on it...
I'm glad we are finally cracking down on it.
By Woof on 12/09/2010
I completely agree. I remember posting an achievement I made right when I was BRAND NEW and all I got was crappy responses like "nice" and stuff. How the hell does that make -me- feel, you know, when I put time in to creating that topic? I agree with you Gene. People need to be more talking.
