Ex Member Status

So yeah... should we give them back a few forums?

No, don't think too much of the active ex-members. They got it taken away for trolling, still the same today. No free gifts from me.

Agreed with Nathan, whatever they have done in the past good or bad they still left the clan, and that is where our focus on them should end, they chose to leave.

Its good recruitment to give them a bit of access. It would encourage them to rejoin.
And frankly I never wanted them to lose their forum access in the first place.

TBH there are maybe 5 or so that I can see wanting to give any extra access to them. It could be masked. Mickey asks all the time and I did discuss it with either Vephy or Justin. I would not have a problem with some of the forums but they want real life one and that can be really personal. Like when guys tell their dating fails and stuff. Members may not want that shared. I know I am a more personal type person. I don't mind sharing but I like to know who I am actually sharing with. We have about 100 ex-members currently. Some didn't leave on that great of terms with us and they even could of joined NH clans. Just my thoughts.

If we do it I'd say be selective.

They had real life access for over a year and there was no incident or anything even close to one.

Which forums do you really want to give them? I would like to know more than just a few forums. The goodbyes caused issues in the past. The reason they lost the forums was excessive trolling and somewhat trying to recruit from us. It may have not been Mickey himself but he knew what was going on. I love Mickey too. He has always been great with me, but I saw what went down too and can't just totally ignore the potential for trouble. I want to be careful and protect us.

Can you tell me exactly what you have in mind? I sorta think of Mickey, Stokenut and a few others as like extended parts of the WG family.

Well, there is a rank for those who don't play along nicely: Guest.

By that I mean: Give them access, and if certain people recruit or cause trouble, they lose their priv's and get Guest rank.

Agreed but with more access, I'll be more strict with the ex-members than I am currently. We may end up with more guests and I don't think it will be a bunch of chances either.

Gene you might want to talk to Steveypants before you change the access too. He trolls so much he'll be Guest the first week.
