Off topic but what was the turnout to Runefest? If you managed to give away 800 pens then that alone blows away my expectations of the event. Anyway, I honestly think that what WG did is pretty cool. In the end, people need to see the faces behind the players. Its easy to take for granted what this clan has ventured into with gene at the wheel. Its the innovative thinking that has kept WG living so strong for so long, changing like a backpacking cameleon on steroids, diversifying at every step.
Its amazing that we've managed to build up such a community that 5 times we've met up in RL, across the world. all of them well supported with people travelling many miles. Its just incredible. We've really taken RS clanning to a new level, and have been recognised for it. Now we gotta keep raising the bar ;D Use the achievements of the past as fresh motivation for the future.
Oh and I gotta put something towards those bloody pens, give me your paypal info

I used to think of you as the Panda with sharp teeth and big claws when I first came to WG. Over the years of knowing you, I know you are the Panda with soft fur, an amazing hug, and warm heart that beats for the clan. Keep being the Panda we know and love.

~1000. We gave away ~800 to RuneFest'ers (and tbh could have done with more) and 200 directly to Jagex.
But I heard the turnout was 400. I seriously don't know how that happened.

Gene, I would like to use this thread to thank you as well for being an amazing leader and being a driving force behind an amazing community and an amazing clan.
You are truly a better leader then any I've seen so far and I thank you once again for your undying dedication to WG.

Lordy is the clan or what may of us think of when we think of WG. Yeh, it is difficult to imagine the clan without him so it looks like Lordy will have to continue forever.
