Gorge! Well done!

By Zooby69 on 21/09/2010
Well seeing as we are having a flood of compliments I thought I would thank Gorge for being so active and making a bucket load of events since he has returned from his summer break.

Although I can't attend many due to RL and timezones and what not, Gorge you are bringing back life to the events tabs in the WG community, well done.

Honorable mention to the other Event Leaders Rob and Kevin for their great jobs in Combat SOTW and SOTW.

Yeah George, great work. <3

I'll be getting back to my 1-2 events per week once I get my P2P back this week. I apologize for a lack of events coming from me recently.

Definitely agree, this is exactly what WG needs. A constant flow of events, some new and some old favourites. Quality, good job mate

I'M TRYING! neko2.gif

But thanks guys, it means a lot.

When I came back from my summer trip, I was on the verge of being kicked, and my aim was to show once again that I was worthy of holding this position of Event Leader and to show my commitment to WG.

I would like to think that in the short time I have been back, I have done that.

Sadly, as you all know, I am to be resigning from this post very shortly, in less than 2 weeks from now, and this will mark the first time I have stepped down from the staff since I was promoted to 'Skills Leader' (old fashioned Event Leader) in September 2007.

It's been a glorious 3 years of Skills Leader, Events Leader, Council and then Events Leader again, but with uni starting I don't want to be known as the 'guy who locks himself away in his room to play on his computer'.

So i leave you in the very capable hands of Kev, Rob and Vephy and I will be very sad to step down, but I will be taking emeritus, watching from the sidelines and playing when I can.

You may still see the odd event from me... especially in the holidays omghash.gif.png

BUT FOR NOW.
I still have more events to host before I go.
