Embedding Signature

By Kaneko86 on 10/11/2010
Hi, I don't know if I'm in the right place, but I am kinda having issues embedding a signature that I found. I'm such a noob on forums heh... hashdown.gif.png and I'm wondering if anyone could help me out? I've tried to use the IMG button that you would see on Code Buttons section but I got an error saying that it's not allowed :S Never did any of this before... unsure.gif

I'm assuming that it says something like "dynamic pages in the IMG codes are not allowed"?

Can you give us the code you used and we can sort you out?
Ensure that you have closed both the IMG tags correctly with brackets at either side, so:

CODE
[IMG]LINKHERE[/IMG]

As this is the most common cause of problems like this.

Yea, what does that mean?

Oh! Simple really. Here's an example of an image with "dynamic" tags. The part highlighted in green is what you would need to remove to make the image work.

Won't work

Now, if you removed that and then used the IMG tags, it'd come up as this.

So basically, whatever image you're trying to use, make sure it ends with .jpg, .png, or something similar to that, instead of random numbers.

Yay!!!!!! It worked biggrin.gif Thanks a bunch!!\

Hmm...how come it says "user posted image" instead of the actual sig?

Oh sweet, it's a photobucket link. That's easy. On the bottom left, you'll see the different links. You'll want to use the one that says "Direct Link". Put THAT one into [IMG] tags.
