Rolling attendance

By Kyle on 11/12/2010
I say we bring down rolling attendance max to be 3-5 tops on the counter. Currently, the 15 max shows that someone can go inactive for 4+ months until they start getting chewed out for it.

Doesn't quite make sense for the max to be so high.

tl;dr /r/'ing 3-5 max

By Rodney75 on 11/12/2010
Agree and have suggested so in the past.

But Darth... "tl;dr /r/'ing"?? What is this about?

I wanted it to be at 7 and got told that it wasn't long enough. They said about summer vacations being like a month. Sometimes exams takes people away too.

Can I suggest that if we have someone that posts inactivity for longer than 2 to 3 weeks, we have some type of plan. Right now we have had people post inactive topics and try hanging out for months with no update. I'm all for giving time when needed but I like to see that they are still interested and are coming back. Any suggestions on this?

In most clans going "inactive" for over 2 weeks is quitting hashdown.gif.png

Told you not to let him in.

Ok, I'll tell Robbie to change it to 5.
I can't find a single fault with this argument.

My only problem with it is that it counts both PvP AND community events.
Meaning someone could never go to raids/wars and still be "active."

By His_Lordship on 13/12/2010
I was talking to someone about two rolling event counts.
A PVP one and a non-PVP one.
Can't remember who.
That would work.

I'd also like to be part of rolling attendance. At the moment I'm exempt.
I need pressure on me to set example.

By VEPHYSAURAS on 13/12/2010
Lol.

By rachellove9 on 13/12/2010
To Randy:

I thought that the War banner was sorta part of that. Like to know who wars and who doesn't. I'm good with adding something but I still like the war counting thing with the lvls of attendance on it.

Wow, just noticed I have 25 wars. I am hero now. lol

By RobbieThe1st on 13/12/2010
Ok, what's been decided:
1. 2 rolling counts, with values from -4 to +4. 0 is "cause for concern" time.
2. All staff will be able to see a person's rolling counts on each post(as a number), regular members won't be able to.
3. the attendance updater will be updated to allow for events, raids, and wars, instead of just the latter two.

By rachellove9 on 13/12/2010
Gene said 5.

By His_Lordship on 13/12/2010
I spoke to him and agreed to 4.

By Kyle on 13/12/2010
Sounds perfect to me.

By VEPHYSAURAS on 13/12/2010
