Intro for pitpirates08

1. Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) : I started playing RS in 2004, shortly after RS2 was released. My first account was named aggie-something but I created a new one after the first time I died and lost my prized pickaxe, because I had no idea how to obtain another one. That account was pitpirates08 (the Pittsburgh Pirates are a U.S. baseball team and I graduated high school in 2008), and here I am over six years later.

I've only ever been in two real clans, Scarlet Empire (in all its various forms) for a few years and the Wilderness Guardians.

I've never had the patience to really go for a 99 skill (I don't even have a 90), but I think I'm fairly well-rounded. I like doing quests, thieving, playing Pest Control and warring.

The 2007 updates are a touchy subject for me. I didn't cheat the trade system when it was possible, but it didn't really affect me when people did so honestly, I never cared that other people were cheating. I hate Jagex for what they did in sucking most of the fun out of a great game.

2. Tell us more about yourself (Your age, where you are from, gender, Hobbies, Music, What you dislike/like): So my name's DB, I'm 20 years old and I live in North Carolina, US. I was reading through some of the other intros and I saw that a current member is stationed in Fort Bragg, that's only a couple of hours from me in Greensboro and I'm there a couple of times every year so that's pretty cool. I'm into almost all sports, I play tennis competitively (in college) and ping pong & basketball for fun. I'm a senior in college studying vocal performance. I've lived several places across the U.S. (Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Texas).

3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan: I was in WG for several months in 2006 and had an absolute blast. The wars were awesome and those were really what I consider the glory days. I believe we were the first single clan to ever hit max ops for a p2p war (against BD). I left during a time of some controversy for the clan but it was mostly because I lost interest in the game. I've been off and on since then, and kind of went back to Scarlet Empire because all my friends were there and since SE was less "legit" I could basically come and go as I pleased and not be held accountable. I'd love to be a part of this community again, and I'd love to add my PvP skill set to those already present. If I know WG is something I can fully commit to, I will apply. If not, I won't waste your time.

4. Are there any current WG members who you already know: I looked through the memberlist and the ones I recognize are Parth23 Jani and His Lordship. P23, I don't know if you were in WG when I was or what, but I definitely recognize the name.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Pittsburgh Pirates are my home baseball team. I go to at least one game a year. I don't really follow sports to close but I like to go with friends for fun. The new stadium is pretty nice.

Rachel I used to live about an hour an a half from Pgh, in a little town near Altoona. I loved going to Pirates games and yes, their new (kind of) stadium is awesome. In all seriousness, it's the best one in the major leagues.

Z, I try to play soccer from time to time but I'm not very good with the ball. My college just finished its intramural soccer season (4v4 indoor) and my team won the regular season title! I did very little to accomplish that though, my roommate was on the team and he's the best player on our college's varsity team.
