SPAM

By bobler2 on 26/04/2008
One thing ive learnt from our war against Cor is we need to spam alot more.

Sure, we've proved that when its comes to the spam contest at the beginning we're good, but when it comes to the actual time spamming is needed i can see heardly none.
Leaders can call out locations but we need the spam to pin-point people. Its hard to located someone when you have 175+ people running around the south-west wall. Somtimes people start to spam but that quickly dies out. You need to be spamming the name once per 2 seconds atleast. If anything just spam "W" because people should know the name of trhe target from teamspeak, so a pile of W's would help alot.

DO NOT use the attitude "well i dont need to, everyone else will". Because when your trying to spam and you see that you and only a couple more people are the only ones you lose hope and wonder why your trying.

I can type with just my left hand and click with my right
But yea, guys just DO it. Just a "w" will help, you dont need to type the entire thing

I agree entirely. I'm used to calling 'w ______' as a habit, though it does indeed help to know who you're actually spamming on and where he is in the first place. The 'South West Wall' from leaders over TS is indeed vitally useful, however when it comes down to it, if you're as the North East wall at the time, the chances are that by the time you're at the SW wall, the target has already moved on tongue.gif So yes, i agree, spamming even 'w' is necessary to pin-point the target.

ok so i could never find the spam piles......i just ran to the groups and then the person was dead. I still really don't no the directions east or west so spamming helps to tell me but i saw none. I just started sniping and i think i drained maybe 6 rangers of their food and about 5 swordies each with their prayer going, other than that is was stupid. I couldnt find wg.
