Required Gear

This thread lists the minimum required gear for all Wilderness Guardian members.

Trial Guardians: You are expected to have at LEAST half of this gear right away. By the time you graduate, you are expected to have ALL of all this.

Guardian+ Ranks: You are required to have this gear AT ALL TIMES. Raid leaders and council are permitted to ask you for a gear check at any given time. Failure to show requested gear will result in appropriate punishment. It is highly suggested you have more than the required gear, so you don't constantly have to run to the Grand Exchange to restock to the minimum.

Required P2P Gear:
General Guidelines:
  • As a general rule of thumb, you must have 10 sets to return in at all times.
  • A P2P "set" always has two styles: melee/range, melee/ancient mage (ice spells), or melee/teleblock (raids only).
  • Each set must be worth a minimum of 200k, not including consumables/runes.
  • "Welfare gear" does not count toward your set count and is not allowed to be used during wars or raids unless permission is granted by the raid leader. This is an example of "welfare gear".
  • In addition to the Consumables and Standard Gear, you have the choice of either the list of Range Gear OR the list of Ancient Magic Gear.
  • You may have a mixture of the Range and Ancient Magic gear, as long as you have 10 sets altogether.
  • If you have 82+ Magic, 5 of your sets must be ancient magic sets. Your other five sets may then either be Range or Ancient Magic.
Consumables:
  • 20+ Games necklaces
  • 20+ Rings of recoil
  • 15+ Phoenix necklaces
  • 100+ Rocktail
  • 100+ Shark
  • 25+ Prayer potions
  • 30+ Saradomin brews
  • 15+ Super restores
  • 15+ Super attack
  • 15+ Super strength
  • 15+ Super anti-poisons
  • OPTIONAL: Ring of life
  • RECOMMENDED: 20 Familiar pouches (IF UNDER 110 F2P COMBAT)
Standard Gear:
  • 20+ Team-9 Cape (only needs to be worn for organized fights)
  • 10+ Rune gloves (Recipe for Disaster quest)
  • 10+ Mithril boots
  • 10+ Helmets (your choice of Helm of Neitiznot^, Warrior helm, or Berserker helm)
  • 10+ Amulets (your choice of Glory^ or Power)
  • 10+ Dragon scimitar
  • 5+ Dragon spear
  • 10+ Black dragon-hide body
  • 10+ Rune plateskirt OR platelegs
  • 10+ Shields (your choice of rune kite^, granite, or obsidian)
Range Gear:
  • 10+ Rune crossbows
  • 300+ Diamond (e) bolts
  • 1k+ Broad bolts
  • 15+ Range potions
  • OPTIONAL*: Archer's helm/god coif
  • OPTIONAL: Snakeskin boots
  • OPTIONAL: Ava's accumulator (only to be used during raids)
Ancient Magic Gear:
  • 10+ Ancient Staff
  • 10+ Mystic Robe Top
  • 10+ Mystic robe bottom
  • 10+ Mystic boots
  • 2k+ Death runes (140-200 per set)
  • 2k+ Blood runes (140-200 per set)
  • 3k+ Water runes (210-300 per set)
  • OPTIONAL*: Farseer's helm/mystic hat
  • OPTIONAL: Rune square shield
  • OPTIONAL: God book (only to be used during raids)
  • OPTIONAL: God cape (only to be used during raids)
^ designates preferred item.
* required if you are not using a Helm of Neitiznot

>>> A note about teleblockers: TBers are essential during raids. Given how many people carry rings of life and teleportation jewelery in the wilderness, we would never get kills on raids without TBers. Please, if we ever need more TBers during a raid, step up to the plate and TB. Your clan-mates will appreciate it and you will be rewarded when the raid is over.

Required F2P PvP Gear

  • Each set must be worth a minimum of 200k, not including consumables/runes.
  • "Welfare gear" does not count toward your set count and is not allowed to be used during wars or raids unless permission is granted by the raid leader.
  • A F2P "set" always has two or three styles: melee/range, melee/binds/mage, and melee/binds/range being the most prominent setups.
  • Unlike P2P, you must have both Range and Magic gear.
  • Any rune armor, power amulets, and Team-9 capes can be combined with your P2P sets. (Example: Say you have 10 rune plateskirts - they can be part of your 10 P2P AND F2P sets).

Did any of that gear change recently, or is this just a reminder etc?
I just want to know if i'm missing anything ohmy.gif

By rachellove9 on 11/01/2011
Some of it looks to be changed. Less in some areas actually. A few new items have been added. Basicly the same but a better list to follow.

Nice work Darth and Kevin.

By demomc on 11/01/2011
wow it looks like so much more than it actually is lol but i shall update my bank accordingly

By Quikdrawjoe on 11/01/2011
Should be Scim or Spear, longsword is about as useful as dds

By Aragon on 12/01/2011
Updated Joe.

By Quikdrawjoe on 12/01/2011
To recommended you might want to include:

Longbow sight
Nature staff
blastbox
arcane stream necklace (the f2p one whatever it's called)
gravite rapier/longsword
gravite staff

By Nytemares4u on 13/01/2011
wow that looks like a lot lol. I'll be sure to update the items that I don't have.

By Brent147 on 13/01/2011
I'll do my best to keep all this in my bank.

By Dallar on 14/01/2011

By VEPHYSAURAS on 15/01/2011
Have had all that since forever lol.

By buzzsaw100 on 24/01/2011
I'm trying to get all this right now, but as an addition for F2P raids: 10+ rings of devotion

http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=10767

also, should the dspears be poisoned?

By Lee on 24/01/2011
got it all.

By Rodney75 on 24/01/2011
Have all/most. No GoP or dung stuff etc.

By Mark on 25/01/2011
Pretty sure i have all of that too. Except Pizzas

By Quikdrawjoe on 29/01/2011
Summon pouches will be useless after update. Your combat won't be affected by the pouch so it's TRAINING TIME
