Well, I almost got arrested.

Ok, so yea.
I almost got arrested last night at around 1AM because my ex friend of 11 years decided to white knight for a bitch that tossed him aside for religion.
I was with my friends and my ex friend and the girl that tossed him out and I was asking one of my guys a question, the girl answered and told me to go fuck myself and that I would die.
I told her to shut the fuck up and that I wasn't talking to her.
Her boyfriend(Yea, they're back together) go offended and stood up with which I did the same the thing is, I grabbed my friends box cutter and told him to sit the fuck down before he got cut.
I then proceeded to walk out of the McDonalds in a pretty pissed off mood, I caught the bus and got home at 5am.

Your thoughts on how the situation was handled?

What she did was rude, but by downgrading yourself to her level escalates the situation.

If you just shrugged it off, her outburst probably would have just made her look bad in front of everyone.

It really depends on the group of people you hang out with and what your group's standard of "acceptable" is. I can't really judge.

Basically what happened was, I got into a verbal argument with the girl a few days ago which ended up in her boyfriend defending her by telling me neither of them want to see my face again.(They are named Sheldon and Brandi, so I don't have to keep being specific)

And yesterday night I was with my 2 friends (Justin and Joey) until 1AM and they decided to call the 2 over to hang out.
When Brandi and Sheldon arrived at the McDonalds me and my friends were at we ordered our shit and proceeded to sit down.
(Naturally me being ignored by Sheldon and Brandi), anyways, about half an hour after we all gathered I asked Joey a question, to which Brandi replied in a nasty tone of voice telling me to shove it up my ass.
As you can imagine, I got rather irate because I was being told to shove my question up my ass by a girl who I didn't ask the question to.
I told her to shut the fuck up, then Sheldon got up and started talking shit, to which I got up almost the same time as he did and seeing as I was in a pretty bad mood to begin with I grabbed Joey's box cutter and pointed it at Sheldon and told him if he made a move he'd get cut.

Justin and Joey had to drag me out of the McDonalds and calm me down.

But on a serious note, i think you were right to stand up for yourself but picking up a weapon is a bit too far even if it is only a box cutter. :S Unless it was one of them with the plastic guard but that'd be kinda pointless.

I think you need to learn anger management. Words won't hurt you but weapons will kill you. Being arrested will bring the "up your ass" to a new level of understanding. I think you know what I mean by that.

Try something like a count of 3 before you talk when something like that happens. It gives you a better chance to respond in an intelligent and clever way.

I don't curse much myself and sorta feel that females that do are degrading themselves in public. For guys that curse a good bit, I usually assume they have low IQ and don't have the ability to express them self because of it. Look to your high paid people you know and you will see what I mean. The highly educated like doctors and lawyers just don't do it much. When they do it is for impact.

I really like you Alain and think you need to focus more on your music. Try to avoid all the drama in life that is basically not going to matter in a month. When you feel these bits of anger or impatience coming on maybe think about how it won't matter in the near future at all.
