My Scar

WARNING: If you think cuts and stuff are gross, do NOT scroll down.
You've been warned..
Yeah. So that's pretty much it. It wraps around the back of my hand a little bit but it's impossible to get it all in one picture. If you are new and/or don't know what happened, I ACCIDENTALY went through a window while running indoor track. Cut a few things inside including a nerve, artery, and some tendends(sp?). Yeah, a mess. I can't even feel it right now, still got to wait 5 months for the nerve to repair.

I have a slash scar above my right eyebrow. It's been there since I was about 2. It makes me look mad.

That's the thing about scars: They also come with some interesting stories...
I got mine when I got smashed in the head by a tow-truck hook that was being swung between two 20-foot tall coconut trees in Australia. My damn Grandpa was one of those rough aussies... He was old, but he was tough... And could climb surprisingly well
. Needless to say, I don't think we knocked off any coconuts that afternoon... But a stubborn 2-year old's thick skull is just as good. Nice throw Grandpa.

You could make up so many good stories about that! Its not gross, its you, its part of who you are and what you enjoy doing. It makes you unique. I am just glad you are ok.
Nerves are very hard to regenerate and it will take a long time to feel normal again, just don't give up hope. I am just glad you are going to be okay.

Wow. My brother burst his apendix and had to get them out. It as up further than it should've been so the surgeon needed to cut higher. Result was a 8 inch scar lol.
