Motivation from Rewards

As free trade in RS is coming back soon. I would like to hear what type of prizes will motivate you to achieve more.
Like for example, I would be motivated to try to get tons of recruits for this awesome belt. (I wear this one all the time and awesomeness.}
Someone else might be more motivated by a rune set. Then there are those that would love a signed certificate from Gene to hang up. Maybe a one month rs card. A custom under banner for the forum or just a simple thanks in a pm.
So my question is: What motivates you? I would like suggestions.

Sadly, money. You could mention people for certain things in the monthly promotions though, I think that would be nice.

Do a WG lottery for one thing, everyone puts in a certain amount, say 500k and the winner gets it all

I find it pathetic that people need more motivation than a better RS account, but whatever gets floats their boat..

Agreed, I don't think they should need to be rewarded, but it does make people try harder, even when its just a little signature or avatar up for grabs, so if this motivation will get a bunch of lower leveled members smashing out the combat exp gains, why not offer this?
Also, I will bust out of CS5 and clean the cobwebs and gladly make the avatars and small sigs.
My idea would be that we have the competition between certain combat levels, so 100-107, 108-112, 113-118, 119-125 (f2p). This way its fairer because players with 82 str can't get the same exp as someone with 98.

This is a great idea. Would totally be part of this as long as it was run by a staff member.

Rewards take out the meaning of the clan. SUre there nice if offered. But that should be why they are playing.

Well, as far as that, it sounds fine, but the whole "HEY GAIN A COMBAT LEVEL I'LL GIVE YOU A WHIP LOL"

Just being appreciated for whatever I do is motivation for doing anything for someone. For getting stats/rs things I have to create that motivation myself. A WG T-Shirt would be nice lolz.
