I just recently talked with Eugene and we thought we'd bring up this discussion topic to Level 2.
By no means will WG ever ally with DI BUT,
we should try our best to be on good terms with them.
DI were known for having decent honor codes and generally weren't scummy like a lot of current P2P clans.
If we got some of our more respected members (elites/staff) to maybe post around their forums a bit, we could possibly earn some respect.
That could lead to things like ACing.. who knows.
Problem: WG tends to be made fun of on their forums considering MOST of their users are non-DI.
Why we're asking the elite members is because you have to not get trolled/represent your clan.

I personally don't have a problem with DI, their head warlord Tomisme is a prick though.

Yes, I agree with this. I have recently (today even) registered on there forums and begun snooping around a bit. They will be once again a power house in P2P. I have no doubt about that, and if we can tail onto that abit, we might get some love back.

I'd be good socially but pvp talk would be a no for me. Like friendly is good but warring and that I would choke. I could try if you think it be okay to just stay away like pvp talk.

Here is my concern.
DI FOrums are anti-WG as they have been for about four years.
Every few months our name shows up and we get laughed at.
It's not like other fan boards where we have good standing.
That particular bunch of people flames WG all the time.
Which is why Randy has made this a discussion.
Is it worth cracking into their forums?

Keep in mind they're re-opening.
Their clan as a whole will be different.
The community might not be, but it's not them we're after.

I'm not going to try myself. If there gonna be a Powerhouse like they used to be why would they AC for us?

I honestly don't think it's worth our time and effort.
Apart from the few legends who are sticking up for us, emphasis on few, the rest seem to be major faggots who are just anti-WG because we have survived for 7 years and they haven't.
They think so much of themselves, and yeah, they were a considerable force once, but they died. That tells us something.
