Application Suggestion
By Randy on 22/01/2011
Suggesting that the required fighting gear should be posted on the app & not the grad.
We're recruiting too many people that have no/little PvP experience.
They need to see whether they can make it or not before they even apply.
By Kyle on 22/01/2011
I'd prefer this, honestly.
By Aragon on 22/01/2011
Yeah.
No point in having a Trial Guardian that leaves after one death.
By Mark on 22/01/2011
Support. Getting quite tired of the people with no experience and i'm sure that'll help
By Jayson on 22/01/2011
its shitting me that i have to trade my sets to new members every war or raid.
We really need to start getting new members who know what they are doing.
These new members who dont know how to tank or war is the reason why we keep losing.

Agree ^^^

I agree with Aragon, it's a constant cycle of suck tbh.. We get these new players all the time, train them to have an idea, more new players come we have to train them, and the old ones get irritated an move onto bigger clans.
This cycle of WG loosing trained members to bigger clans has been happening for years now.

Find me a serious PvP clan that doesn't put gear reqs on the app

Let's be innovators, not followers.
I think we can be a good PVP clan AND charitable, by teaching the new guys.
You just need patience.
Have you forgotten the days in which you had no clue?
By rachellove9 on 22/01/2011
I'm actually disappointed. I've seen rude and unacceptable behavior to our guests and new trials. You all know better.
Do you want to succeed and grow? Or do you prefer to be a clan of Elites with little to offer the masses.
If this is the attitude you want to show to new trials, I want you to pm me now and ask to not be a mentor any more. Cause you are not who I want to be greeting the new people and showing the way.
By Aragon on 22/01/2011
We can't succeed and grow if we don't put some kind of set requirement on the Trial Member thing. It's not being a follower, Gene, it's being reasonable. What is the point of a Trial Member coming to a raid, dying with his only set of Dragonhide he's had since god knows when, makes an excuse to go offline because he can't afford another one. A habbit will form out of this, and he won't ever really attend PvP events, only the community events.
If we don't implement this people will continuously think we're a community clan, and won't take anything seriously as a Trial Member. The reason the top PvP clans have a gear requirement for Intros/FAs is because it works. How can a trial prove themselves if they come in rags? They need to show that they can be a good member, by always returning, by having good gear. I want to cry when I see a trial member come to a CWA fight in wizard robes, it makes US look bad.

Exactly. They join WG with 1 set (if that), die at a raid, and they're done.
Is that what we want?
By Randy on 22/01/2011
Bump
By Aragon on 22/01/2011
Something will be implemented shortly after he had a small meeting on teamspeak earlier.
