How dedicated are you?
By Jayson on 24/01/2011
Answer honestly, I'm curious.
By Zooby69 on 24/01/2011
First one. Most events only take 1-2 Hours. True friends wait yo. I can see Aussie units dedication. 50% 1 and 50% 2.
By ZurvivorMan on 24/01/2011
Wake up early, but wouldn't cancel plans in real life for important events
IRL > Than RS
That's how it goes for me.
By Kevin on 24/01/2011
Sorry I showed up a few minutes later than I should have, I guess my first round of my alarm clock just didn't register in my ear, because I definitely set it for 20 minutes before the event start

.
Anyway ... I somewhat expected a low turnout to this, but not THIS low. Kinda upsets me, to be honest.

haha, try having to wake up with alarms nearly everyday this week for anniversary

i set 3, and the second and third are far from my bed so i have to get up to turn them off.
By Pyroclastic0 on 24/01/2011
Depends on how important the RL thing is
By Orthux on 24/01/2011
I never have any plans so yeah:
Wake up early, tell friends we can hang another day for important events.
+ Now you'll see a huge increase in my attendance since I've discovered that alarms DO actually work for me.
By Rodney75 on 24/01/2011
I need my own option.
I'ld only get up early for important events, as long as it wasn't required too often of me. I wouldn't miss real life opportunities, because ultimately - getting away from the pc is nice (regardless if i'm working, scaping, youtubing). IRL > PC.
However, i'ld cancel irl plans for WildGuard irl plans. As long as it wasn't like last year where I had spent £205 already for a festival lol.
But ultimately, anything comes above the internet. It's just how I was brought up by my parents I guess. But I have been known to lie to irl mates in times of raids and wars
And anyway, I get up every sunday early for Aussie raid so meh

Edit: Went for Option 2, most realistic here.
By George on 24/01/2011
I cancelled plans irl yesterday to attend the Clan Quest.
Obviously it would depend on how important both the WG event and the plans are irl, but mostly i'd do my best to reschedule (if possible) my RL stuff if the WG event was that important.
By Garrett on 24/01/2011
i dont cancel events irl, because i dont have a great social life.
By Frozen_10 on 24/01/2011
Voted for option #1.
But it depends on what I have to cancel.
By DZ on 24/01/2011
Depends what our event is. If it is something really important for the clan or something I really want to attend, I will change my plans accordingly.
By Vulcan Sin on 24/01/2011
First one, I would wake up early, it's just being on later my dad limits me staying on at night during weekdays, but on saturdays, i'm completely free, my friends being a jerk so

.
By VEPHYSAURAS on 24/01/2011
I consider important real life events to be job related as I'm most always on call at any moment. I try to fit things in though but mistakes happen or I fall asleep before something. I always have the best intentions is all I can say, I wouldn't say a particular continent has superior dedication because they have grown accustom to getting up for events.
By Randy on 25/01/2011
I will happily wake up early but not on most weekdays
By Aragon on 25/01/2011
Depends how early, I've tried doing 4 AM for the Aussie raids but it's unmanageable for me. I will never cancel real life plans for runescape.
By Elyxiatic on 25/01/2011
This whole topic is bullshit.
Voting for an option and doing that action are two different things.
If those results were true, we wouldn't pull 8 to an aussie clanniversary day.
Simple as that.
By Quikdrawjoe on 25/01/2011
Depends on the situation. Option 1 doesn't apply because I have no friends
By Jayson on 25/01/2011
Nice to see someone has the balls to say they 'Wouldn't go to an event unless I'm home and I'm not doing anything else.'

I get up early/stay up super later. (I stay up till 5:00am on Sunday mornings for Aussie raids).
However, I will rarely cancel a IRL plan for an event if it's something with my close friends. The flip side to this is, if I'm doing something WG related and then I get asked to do something I normally say that I'm busy. In my life, it's kind of first come first serve basis.. it's how I was taught.

voted Wake up early, but wouldn't cancel plans in real life for important events.
Depends what the event is both irl and wg though, but generally if I have plans irl im not going to cancel them for runescaep
By Mark on 25/01/2011
You know me, I'll cancel plans IRL. Unless i really wanna go of course. Like a 1 off. So yes i voted for the first one.
But i get up early every day for events. Usually 8 oclock but sometimes 7

Staying up till 1am on school nights kills me a little. But nothing sleeping at school cant solve. But now that I'm going into school next week I probly won't be attending events during the week. Unless there happens to be a recurring Mid-week Aussie raid.
P.S I have skipped school for wars once or twice. Feel free to laugh at me lolz
By creeper975 on 25/01/2011
The only event which I can get up early for is aussie raid (although its not that early for me) which I do most of the time. But im 50/50 with events/irl events, depends on what each of them are really.
By Bambaleo on 25/01/2011
voted #2 since rl>rs
By David on 25/01/2011
My life outside this game is far more important to me.
I love being in WG, but ultimately my real life experiences are the ones that I'm going to look back on and say I enjoyed, not some hour or two running around in a game.
I try to be reasonable and plan around the most important of WG events, but in general, most RL appointments, regardless of RL importance, are more important to me than WG events.
Wars and raids are very important to WG, and hanging out with my RL friends is something I can do every day, but come twenty years from now, am I going to want to look back on one more day of interacting with my life-long friends from college, or another day sitting in front of a computer?
RL>>>RS
No questions asked.
By Kung Man149 on 25/01/2011
I wouldn't wake up early mostly because I'm NOT morning person as some of you know, I'm really pissy in the morning.
As for events if it was a very important event, I'd stay up all night.
By Dorcha3377 on 25/01/2011
I can think back to the past to all the times I was too "busy" at RS and with WG to do things with my family.
I can look back now and wish I had done things differently. So no I don't care for the options listed. If I can I attend, its that simple.
By rachellove9 on 26/01/2011
I don't like the poll. We are more casual clan like Gene describes us in his latest video?
I think most of us come when we can to events but it's not just wake up early thing. I take my lunch and breaks during work to do events and wars. Does that count like a wake up early?
This is all going a bit far to prove who is loyal and who is not kinda thing. TBH, I don't like what you're implying. Keep pushing the I'm better cause I wake up and you may find yourselves with a smaller ML.
By malakaro on 26/01/2011
as long as it doesnt involve skipping school or family meetings

By Zooby69 on 26/01/2011
A smaller more active member list is better than a big inactive ML.
