Upcoming and Important . . .
By rachellove9 on 26/01/2011
Next issue is the gear check???? Do you still want me to handle the gear check or do you want to do that now too? I am fine with it either way. I just need to know what the plan on this is.
I'd like it posted like on Friday and to be done by like 3 to 5 days later. In the past giving them to long was not a good thing. This could help with the inactive members as far as a warn level or sweep them out of WG.
Honestly, coming from me is not going to have same impact as coming from our PVP leaders. I'm always willing to help though.
After the clan anniversary we need a ts meeting for the clan as well. Pick a date? Not a Thurs night and Saturday I can try to work around your schedules with mine. I prefer something like 3 pm if possible. I'd say January 5th and make it hyped up to the clan.
I will need Kyle and Raid Leaders on to handle pvp. Kevin and Event Leaders to go over any community things.
Gene if you can make it, I'd love to have you go over stuff like Recruiting and how important your CC is to hang out in. Pushing graduations and getting to training and things like that all need gone over.
As always I'll take notes, recap and try to keep it moving along smoothly.
Sorry if I seem pushy but this just needs addressed and really it has been way to long coming.

The time and date you suggested for the Teamspeak meeting would be perfect for me.

Yes, we need a gear check.
As for PvP... I hate how the clanniversary is so long. I have to decline wars daily because "oh, we have an event every day this week, sorry."
By markenzie1 on 26/01/2011
no, i think its great that someone actually comes out for it instead of it being forgotten.
but umm, i cant be there on any friday from 7 am gmt till 7 pm gmt (due to a combination from work and school).
oh and i assume you mean february?

Oh well Aragon, its only 1 week a year, and its alot of fun really. For the other 51 weeks we can war as much as we like.
As for the gear check, yea I think it will be better if Warlord / Raid Leaders handle it.
But I think we should make in game trades to prove they have the gear, its quite easy to fake a picture. And since there will be 3, if not 4, of us, it should be pretty easy to do it on raids/wars/events or even when not doing anything.

I've had to decline them for 3 weeks now as I've been assuming we'd have the Clanniversary that week each time.

Same.^
I love the clanniversary, but damn it sucks when I had to decline fights constantly because I thought it was going to happen that week.
I think I'll do gear checks ingame when it gets posted.

Okay so you want me to make the post and say that all gear checks are being done in game by raid leaders and Warlord then kind of thing. I will work on the wording.
How many days do you want them to have to do it. Remember you don't have to check the trials during the gear checks. That takes like 30 people off of the list to check.
Just give me a better idea of what you want.
By Kyle on 27/01/2011
Oh, I probably couldn't do it the 5th, IST that day with the Marines. Can you make it the following saturday?
And yes, all gear checks done ingame by raid leaders/warlord.
And give them a week to do the gear check.

We'll have a checklist with all of the current Member's names on it, and say you need a contact a raid leader or council to have your gear checked ingame by ______ and cross off people as we go with [s] tags

What I talked about a long time ago with Rach and I think Kyle, too, was doing an initial gear check like we've done in the past, where members simply post an image of all the gear. Then, after that, each raid leader/council gets assigned like 10 or so members to check sometime during following month, asking for specific items, not a full gear check. So like, asking them to show you 10 d scims, 10 rune plates, 100 rocktail and 100 shark, etc., in addition to all the FoG gear. Asking for gear out of the blue would be more effective, that way members wouldn't only buy the gear for the gear check, then sell it immediately.
Thoughts?
As for meeting, any Friday/Saturday would be good.

Yeah, I was thinking random checks with no warning. That'd be better.

Yea, would be more effective, but I'd rather just do a normal gear check, threaten everyone with the 'random gear check warnings' first.
No point in giving away warn levels when we just want people to have the sets.
Also then they wont have any excuse to not return on fights.
