Something fishy is goin on here.

I'm not alone, other people noticed this besides me.

Groedius IS John Sillver (his "dad")

Proof (note: I'm on my laptop and I can't really take screenshots and stuff, but everything i'm about to say IS the truth and nothiing but it.)

1. On the Z6 forums, John Sillver posted a level on Groedius' combat academy. Either it was left logged in, or....

2. You never see both of them at events (I may be wrong, but this is what iv'e seen), it is always either or.

3. John Sillver's application has a screenshot using the same exact background and toolbar and PROGRAMS (there is always photoshop open) as Groedius' screenshots.

4. His app also contains Groedius as level 114 (he is 120) on the side, but Groedius claims it was a mistake (read it yourself).

Here is the fishy part

5. Groedius was always on John Sillver's application. When i posted (you need to write more), it was done like 5 seconds after, yet Groedius was watching the application IMMEDIATELY.

6. Groedius sent me a forum PM saying the application has been updated. Why Groedius? Why didn't John Sillver send me the PM?

I agree Randy something going on, John sillver was never active before he got kicked, Hmmm.

I dont feel hugely comfortable about this.

I know groedius is going through allot IRL at the moment so why is his "dad" posting an app when he is probably having difficulties too?

Has anyone notices he's also never on when groedius is?

I know for sure that the account did originaly belong to Andrew's dad. Weather or not if he still plays it is unknown, but i could always tell, just by the way that he types and his formality of writing that the two are the same.

He was kicked for inactivity by Snowzak, i suggest we keep it that way, just say that certain council members have reason for this. Also, that it is nothing personal.

My theory is that Andrew wants his dad in WG but his dad has no idea on clans & forums. It looks as if groe is just getting him a freeride into WG so he can participate.

I'm not doing his app until I get council opinions.

I agree with Cam. The account John Sillver was at least at one time Andrew's father. I have talked with the person, and the way of writing is different. John is on at times that Andrew is never on at too... I have heard that John works at night. From both Andrew and John.

Also, because he got kicked for inactivity... There should be some restrictions about if he wants to rejoin. Having to attend 2-4 events before he gets accepted, within a 2 week period. Or some other requirement.

I haven't notice this. It is odd, though.

Does anyone else feel slightly uncomfortable about both the father and son being in the same clan anyway?

What I've been meaning to do is have them both talk on Teamspeak, one right after the other or at the same time.

I've never really made up my mind on what I think about this issue :s

if you would have taken some time to look at the lvls...you would have noticed that the lvls aren't his...and probably it's just like he said it was..just some random guy's stats.

I honestly don't know.. It really sounds very fishy, but, I believe Andrew and his dad could come up with logical reasons to everything Randy said.

It does seem kind of weird.. All you can do is ask him whats up with it, they definitely use the same computer, their IPs are the same use Mod CP and find all posts, you'll get a mix of John's and Andrew's.

I've seen Groe and John on same event before, but it is rarely.

Weird.

But John Sillver just logged out of RS, Groedius logged on.

If you want my opinion, I don't think we should allow him in, he seems like alot of trouble.

Seriously... Andrew's dad should have enough common sense to not insult like that. And Andrew shouldn't have passed it on.

Well, first off, if it is indeed Groedius doing the work, I don't see any problem - He is doing twice the work for wg after all...

Ok, so he is giving his dad a free ride. SO? What is so wrong about that? I say that its fine, so long as his dad, after getting in, does help out wg at events and such.

IP wise, if they are using the same computer, why is it surprising that A, they are using the same IP(s), and B, that they might post as each other? Keeping the right accounts straight is hard.

With this last comment, you know... I think it was probably Groe saying that. I, too, would be really angry at Abs if I worked twice as hard getting my dad into WG, only to be turned down for a barely-valid reason.

I would have given him a chance - If he came to enough events(hey, even if its Groe coming to 2x events, that's great, and who cares what account hes on?), then it shouldn't be a problem.

I suspected this from the instant Andrew told me his Dad was joining.

When I kicked John Sillver a few weeks ago, I was 100% sure that John Sillver was Groe, and Groe protested to me as soon as I kicked him.

However I kept telling him for a few minutes that I knew what he was doing, then I logged off. He never protested again, and I let it slip.

Maybe he took advantage of my absence to reapp.

My advice would be to deny John on the basis that he wasn't active last time, and ask for him to come on TS for a convo to "ensure he will be active this time".
Most likely Groe will drop it then, and if it's really his Dad, he'll come on TS.
