New Rivalry with Oblivion

We now have a rivalry with Oblivion.
They have slandered us too many times.
They basically think we're a skilling clan.
We're going to mass up for their events and rape the shit out of them with barrages and chins.
We want to close them.
We were winning a P2P run-in against them until they started returning in rags and +1 items.

A rivalry will SERIOUSLY encourage activity in WG.
It will help us grow and motivate us.
Plus, we'd get some awesome respect from the clan world.

We'll be inviting ourselves to their PK trips though.

Um, one thing to be careful of.
Despite the build-up in intensity (and I mean, I want you to make it your goal to close this clan), be *somewhat* polite. A bit of banter helps keep things hot, but don't get too carried away.

If we're going to have a rivalry with an aussie clan you really have to make sure you know when we're gonna hit them so us non-aussie know when to stay up

I guess a rivalry would be fun!
However Mark has a point. I don't mind losing sets, that's what they are for and that's why the standard gear says you should have a minimum of 10... but I can just see (obvs i don't know how active they are or how often the pk), but if like they PK every day and we are forced to go to these raids.... that could become v. expensive.
If that does happen, which it probably won't, then there needs to be a limit

Assuming that we're raiding at high level wilderness like before the wilderness got removed, shouldn't be a problem assuming everyone is above 100. People will need to return via ardy-->lever-->run or GDs teleport. Or worse case, portal up there.
Alot of new things tactics will be coming with this update so i hope everyone is able to absorb it all =.=

I down for fucking up Oblivion, i hate them with a passion.

Hopefully this will encourage people to return.
However, you might not want to do it with a team that might be considered NH. This could turn into a small scale RoT vs. DI. If they are not scared to return in rags, then our gear requirements and honor could be our biggest downfall.
Losing 5 sets of our gear and losing to them just because they have unlimited rags is pretty demoralizing.
Don't put WG in a bad position, because there is a lot more potential for Oblivion to grow as a team than WG to grow as a clan. Plus their best time zone is our smallest time zone. Think all of this through before beef is officially started.

Of corse there gonna try and get under your skin either during the raid or afterwards, because its the best kind of fun you can get, especially if they feel like there better than us (which there obviously not, we were professional and they we scraggy)
Also i dont think that a full out rivalry with this clan will be all that beneficial, its just a thought but i dont think it will push people to training up there accounts or anything like that, all it seems to be is a hot headed attempt to get back at a clan who did well in a fight against us..
