Why are you not idling in this channel? If it isn't a rule it should be. Do you have a problem with having another channel open? Kinda getting pissed off with the amount of people that aren't in there, and then wonder what is going on.
Apologies for those who do idle in there and its appreciated.
So if your one of the people who don't, please give a reason. I'm curious

A lot of staff aren't idling in it, which is mega annoying when I want to ask clan related questions, or ask for a RAIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. Also, its obvious we are doing something when we say "everyone join #wg", you should be in there already.

Example: I logged on a few days ago and someone immediately said to me:
'George, #wg'
That, in my eyes, is exactly the same as saying that we are raiding in the lobby.... because everyone knows that we only require people to be in there (at the moment) for wars, raids....
So yeah..

Maybe try over the next week to get everyone on doing this as a habit. If you see someone has joined the lobby say something like Hello Rachy, join us in #wg.
Not only does this get everyone in the habit but it is less noticeable if it is all the time being done. Those thinking of joining will wonder what we are doing in there. lol

I try to do it, but in all honesty I think the reason people don't do it is because it seems pointless. Nearly every time I'm on nothing happens in there, not even a word spoken. Years back it was at least as active as the lobby. I'll still enter but I feel like this is the reason people don't

So is it a real problem for you to be in there? If noone talks in there, Robbiebot still reminds you of upcoming events.
I don't see a problem in being in there, you may have a valid reason of why its not productive to be in there, but is it non-productive?

Well obviously not, it's just pointless enough 95% of the time to make me forget about it. I doubt I'm the only one
And all that I get is penguins + tog in x days for events every once in a while
