Emeritus running for council...

I honestly think that anyone under the rank of Emeritus should not be allowed to run for council.
If you're not active enough to be a member of the clan, then why the hell should you lead it?
It makes no sense to me, so maybe it should be addressed.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that we'll be taking out Emeritus' applications, not 100% though. Its Abs who is in charge of running it.

A person is Emeritus Rank for a reason. Usually, because they are no longer as involved in clan life and RS. If they are inactive, then what is the point in running for council?
Also, there is no guarantee that Samurai JM will stay with RS. He also plays WoW a lot, and when school starts back up, his time will become a lot more limited.
Summer may be a time when clans flourish more due to people having more free time, but then the reverse could be said to happen at the end of August, beginning of September.
I feel that whoever the new council will be, it cannot be some one who will leave as soon as school starts again.

I wasnt planning to post here because I am running, but meh.
I Don't think emeritus should be given the chance, they may be active now, but have you actually seen JM in game recently? The answer to that is no.
Kiwi is active, but has only been back for a week or 2 and could quite easily slip back into inactivity. Admittedly he has been asked to change to Higher/elite, but I am assuming council is holding this off because he is only asking for it so he can run for council?
The one that confused me is Madd, who when he posted his app had a warn rating.... suddenly he doesnt
