This important announcement will cover three separate topics. The first two have been frequently talked about issues in WG, while the final has been something I've been wanting to improve for a while now.
Before you read, know this. These changes are being made with one goal in mind: to have a more active and enjoyable clan to be a part of.

War Sign-ups and Skipping:Too long has this been an issue in WG. We constantly have sign-up lists where half or less of the clan actually bother to sign up. Really, it is no wonder we have atrocious pulls. This is partly the fault of the staff, who have been too lenient and anything but proactive in solving this issue.
From this point forward, we will be enforcing mandatory sign-ups.Any war with a prep of 4 days or more must be signed up for, or you will now be given a 20% warn.PMs will be sent out for any 4 day+ prep war, so you should have no excuse for not signing up (other than an inactivity topic).
Signing up for wars with a prep of 3 days or less will not be required, but still be highly encouraged.
However, regardless of the prep length, all wars are mandatory to attend!Skipping any mandatory event will now result in a 20-40% warn. This goes for leaving a mandatory event without explanation, as well.
As clarification,
A mandatory event is...- Any war, regardless of prep length (30 minutes, 3 days, 1 week, etc).
- Any raid posted 24+ hours in advance, including the weekly raids.

Trial Guardian Graduations:Like the previous issue, we will be tightening up our policies here. We have been
way to easy on too many trials when it comes to the length of their trial period. This is completely council's fault, and I will take the blame for it.
From now on, a trial guardian will not be allowed to exceed their one month trial period. If a trial hasn't graduated after three weeks, a PM will be sent notifying them that they need to graduate by X date. After 30 days, without a completed graduation topic, they will be kicked.
Extreme circumstances may allow for a small extension, but to all trials, here is the bottom line:
If you cannot meet our graduation requirements within one month's time, you are not active enough for this clan. ___________________________________________________
Revamped Skill + Combat Competitions:With our requirements being raised in the near future, we need to put a larger emphasis on training.
It is my hope that these new Skill + Combat competitions will help with that, and also that people will find them to be more fun

.
Here's how they will work:
WG Skilling Competition:- Just like before, a poll will determine what the skill will be during the week of competition.
- There will now only be two tiers. The low tier will take about 1-2 hours of skilling to achieve, with the higher tier taking ~4 times that amount.
- The person who gains the most experience in the competition that week will receive a special badge underneath their forum name (see below).
- For each 200k experience you gain in the skill, you will receive a "raffle ticket". At the end of the competition, a raffle ticket will be pulled and that person will receive 1M GP. With this new reward, you don't have to no life the competition to win something!
- Finally, Summoning will be moved from the Combat comp to the Skill comp.
WG Combat Competition:- The combat competition will now last for 2 weeks.
- Like the Skill comp, a poll will decide the combat skill to be trained.
- To clarify, the following combat skills will be interchangeable: attack, strength, and defence. Also: magic and ranged. If you have 99 in one of these, you can choose to train an interchangeable skill.
- Tiers will work just like the Skill comp.
- Like the Skill comp, the one who gains the most xp will receive a special badge (see below)
- Like the Skill comp, a "raffle ticket" will be given out for every 200k experience gained. However, the prize will be 2M GP.

Also, there is one for our Member of the Month!

Big kudos to

Also, thank you to
Robbie for helping me with think of ways to better these comps, and of course adding the badges to the forums.
