The idea of this is very similiar to my "Building from basics" but this is much more fair and requires a lot less teamwork (if that's the path you choose). The basic idea is to create an account from scratch, train it in whatever way you feel will be best, get supplies and then fight it out in an epic CWA battle. Here's an example of what you could do: 1. Kill goblins to train defence until you get a sling, with the sling begin training range on cows. 2. Sell the cows hides on the G.E to buy some armour. 3. Begin fishing shrimps and then cooking them for food. The possibilities of what you could do are endless, it's all up to you. The only rule is that you cannot trade with any other player, this prevents trading off your main to give to your event account (this also includes drop trading). We'll start by creating our accounts and doing the tutorial together, we will then organise ourselves into 2 equal teams. A set time will then be given for you to go and train, skill and gather supplies. Each team will have their own Teamspeak channel where they can discuss what they're going to do, for example 2 members may decide to train range and the others melee. When the time is up we will all head over to Clan wars, using the classic map the two teams will battle it out to the death. From participation of this event you will gain a scout which you will be able to use on our f2p raids. You may look at this event and think "hey this looks like work, not going", just try it. It's always good to try something new so please give it a go, you might enjoy it. I'm just asking for a few more people to take interest in some of the fun events, they're not mandatory but at times they can be really enjoyable. Please try to come

I was pretty dissapointed with the pull but I decided to go ahead with it anyway. We split into two teams (BGP + James and Orthux + Mark) and created our new characters.
Meeting at Lumbridge we set off on our own to start training, personally I went for 5 attack and strength so that I could use steel, I picked up cow leather to afford food and armour. We all had 45 minutes to train, gather food, weapons and armour.
Towards the end BGP disconnected so we decided that it was best for me to have a deathmatch with James (as I was better equiped), there was some confusion with the rules which meant James didn't have any armour, I solved this by removing my armour. During the epic battle James realised that he couldn't use his quest staff or his ranged weapon which meant he resorted to punching me to death, Mark gave James a scimitar so that it was a fair fight.
10 Minutes into this tense battle we decided it was best to stop using food, this resulted in some devastating blows by James which caused me to kneel in defeat.

This event didn't go too badly, having more people would have been fun but I think it was an enjoyable experience overall. Thanks so much to those who did attend.
