First game:
Orthux, Kev, Armybuilder ... versus ... Demonc, Diggy, Zurvivor

Well, Zurvivor's team didn't know what they were doing for the most part (neko2.gif), because it was the first game they had ever played (except for Diggy). I don't even think they got 1 bottle of rum, lolz. But Diggy was a beast at burning our bamboo madeoface.gif.

Second Game:
Kev, Diggy, Demonc ... versus ... Army, Orthux, Zurvivor

Everybody tried really hard for this one. We split up into different channels to strategize. Army's team got the first bottle of rum, but after that they chainged their strategy - they just started to burn everything in our base. They started off by burning the bamboo, but then they started burning our hoppers. At one point they had all of our hoppers unusable, but that was okay, because we already had enough ingredients for a few bottles of rum. With a few minutes left, they went back to their base to try and catch up with us, but our lead was too great biggrin.gif.

Description:
I've been wanting to do another one of these events ever since the anniversary. I was new to this mini-game when we tried it out, and I was surprised by how fun it was. It wasn't nearly as complicated as I thought it was, and after a couple of rounds, I had everything down. The thing I liked most about this mini-game was how it was extremely competitive with it just being WG playing it.

Basically, how the game works is you're either on Red or Blue, and you're trying to make more rum than the other team. To do this, you have to collect a bunch of different ingredients and bring them back to your base. You can also sabotage the other team by burning their equipment, burning bridges, or killing their monkeys!

As a reward, you get Pieces O' Eight, which can be used to purchase some pretty awesome pirate clothing.

RuneWiki has a very good guide on Trouble Brewing. It's a quick read, maybe about 5 minutes, and it will teach you everything you need to know about the mini-game.

What to bring: Bring a good hatchet, an Amulet of Monkeyspeak, and lightweight clothing.
Mass at: Mos Le Harmless bank
Clan Chat: "KevCross"
TeamSpeak: TS will be used to communicate strategy with your team
