So this is where we share the little odd things in life that make us so very very happy.
Nothing major like playing guitar, or ice skating, or watching girls, or scaping... what we're after are odd tiny moments that don't mean much.
I LOVE:
- Taking my socks off at the end of a long day. Best feeling of all time.

throwing rocks into pools of water

Knowing that you can make a difference with something that means so much to you and the friends you are doing it with.
The satisfaction I feel after knowing I done my best and it paid off.
That look your gf can give you and it actually makes you feel warm inside.

Being at the most popular Australian music concert, walking around all day, it hitting midnight and time to walk home, but instead walking 5km in the wrong direction, finally getting a taxi after 4 hours of trying then phone going flat at the end of the call, getting in that taxi then collapsing into bed at the hotel, kicking off my shoes and socks and pass out. Most amazing feeling...

Getting back to your house/apartment after having been gone awhile.
That first cup of coffee, especially when it's freezing outside and the coffee is hot.
Speaking with someone else in the Military and using that unique language that only we can truly understand.
Crawling back into your rack after doing a middle of the night guard shift.
Changing my socks to dry/clean ones.
When the first burst of water of a hot shower hits your skin.
Letting your body armor hit the ground after getting back from a mission (Most of you won't get that, but feeling a 35lb constrictive weight drop off your back and chest when you're hotter than hell and sweating like crazy, my god it feels glorious).
Working before dawn, then looking up and seeing it's bright outside.
When a pet shows its affection for you and is genuinely happy to see you.

Putting on socks/long johns straight out of the dryer while they're still toasty.
Going for walks to find a quiet place just to sit and let your mind relax.
That feeling you get when an author conveys something in a way that's just right.
Reading a new set of World of Warcraft patch notes that -isn't- nerfing your class to hell.
Running across an intelligent person on the internet you can talk books with.
Putting the last edit into a significant paper you can feel proud of.
Doing anything at all you can feel proud of that nobody else will ever know.
Even had this feeling with exams before, where I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.
Also, a nice warm shower at the end of the day just melts the stress right out of you.
It's amazing.

I had some weird rhyme/limerick I'd sing under my breath when I was a kid whenever I ate broccoli; my Dad's a retired fireman, but he'd also do tons of tree work on the side. So I'd pick the broccoli that was cut evenly so I could stand it up like a tree on my plate, then cut it down, cut it up just like I'd watch my Dad do it, then eat it pretending I was the wood chipper. Wish I could remember what the hell that rhyme was, just for old time's sake. Honestly it was probably annoying as hell to my parents.

The feeling when you figure something out. Like, I took a math elective last year that dealt in a lot of historical, non-European mathematics. Like Babylonian, Egyptian, Chinese, Mayan, and some really off the beaten path stuff like from groups of isolated islanders way out in the Pacific. So sometimes we'd have lectures where the professor was even like "yeah, this is really cool, and I can tell you a bit about it, but there's a bunch we just don't know" and before the end of the lecture you realized that you've deduced a few things that nobody else in the room has figured out. So you share it, brain storm, and come up with some amazing stuff.
Related: Solving a bugger of a sudoku puzzle.
Then getting bored, and deciding to make one from scratch.
Then turning that finished sudoku puzzle into a 9x9 magic square.
Then making that magic square a perfect magic square.
Then realizing you just missed out on an entire lecture on accounting information systems.
Then realizing you don't care, and life's still good, and that symmetry is beautiful.
Then cursing Ben Franklin because he could do 16x16s in even less time.
Stupid, insanely brilliant Benny making me feel inferior...

What the FUCK. I bet he had sets of 4x4 magic squares memorized and used a multiplicative algorithm to quickly orchestrate them into a 16x16 with interrelated symmetries. I bet he also expanded a few out from the origin to spice things up a little. The little bugger, that's brilliant. No wonder the French loved having him around so much.

Sapping a mob in a raid trash pull, and being the only CC that isn't broken or worn off when everything else is dead. Also, saving a raid from a wipe by evasion tanking (kind of impossible I think in Cataclysm, felt like a badass in Wrath of the Lich King a few times though).

Watching a good anime (Ghost in the Shell, at the moment).
Immersing yourself in a chess game (roommate cheated, he left for basic).

A piece of Apple Carmel Walnut pie from Kelly's Family Restaurant when it's fresh from the oven and still warm for ice cream melting on the top. I like it with my coffee with cream. Like a piece of heaven.

Watching strangers do stupid things and then manage to correct themselves/ or run away thinking no one saw them.
Getting in a pool after a hot day (no swimming necessary just relaxing)
Finishing any type of project, and then looking at it and wondering how "I" managed to accomplish it.
Forgetting that I my second job pays, and the money appearing in bank account every Friday. It's a great surprise every week
Turning up the Radio and driving down the deep country roads.
Turning up the radio and driving down the deep country roads... at night, and play dodge the deer.
Seeing people I care about succeed in things.
Doing on the spot silly songs/paraodies in my head(or out loud) just for a quick chuckle.
Getting in a pool after a hot day (no swimming necessary just relaxing)
