I would probably go for a Samsung Spinpoint over the Seagate Hard Drive as they're very highly rated and give higher transfer speeds (I have 3 Samsung Drives in my PC neko2.gif).

The motherboard you have there will not support the 'Sandy Bridge' CPU you have selected (it's an LGA 1155 CPU, the motherboard you have is 1156). Intel has had some problems with motherboard chips for the new CPU's (such as the i5-2500) so you will find it hard to get a suitable motherboard over the next few weeks.

Motherboards for the i5-2XXX (LGA 1155) will have a P67 or H67 chipset. The newer i5 CPU's are much better than the older ones (older ones being LGA 1156/P55 & H55) so it's definitely worth going with them once the motherboards are available again (probably 2 weeks or so).

Thanks for the advice, the two weeks thing is no biggy. I wasn't planning on ordering any of these for almost a month anyway lol. And the stuff like the HDD and DVDRW are interchangeable with almost anything tbh, I'm not too worried about those choices. I'll keep an eye out for a compatible motherboard tho, thx! biggrin.gif

Don't get a no brand power supply yo neko2.gif

I'd trust a PSU from someone like corsair/seasonic above that thing, I've never even seen a review of 'unltra' before so it's bound to be shit.

Like 70% of the ones on TD are Ultra so meh

(also its 5 stars with 500+ reviews lol)

Check out NewEgg.

Double your RAM, it won't cost to much for such a big difference, also a wireless card if you have some room. Also I didn't look at the case you listed, so that may have fans, but if you are planning to Overclock I would look into some cooling units. If you need any ideas I build PCs quite a lot, both for work and for my own personal interests, so would be happy to talk about it.

Edit,

Just read your having the new sandy chip, only a select few of those can be/will ever be overclockable. Just something to think about if thats the direction you wanted to take.
