Why I Changed My Mind On TBK

For a very long time I have been defending TBK.
Many WG members were in favour of hitting them, though Rachel and I weren't.
We tried to maintain peace, but in the last 24 hours, things have changed a lot.

Keanu has announced to TBK that WG is its formal enemy.

Here's what happened.
Kung organises a mass to hit TBK in the wild.
This is a legit thing that all PVP clans do.
Keanu fails to realise that all clans get hunted in PVP.
Naturally it worsens relations with TBK, because the two clans are connected.
(If it were any other clan, he wouldn't kick up a fuss)

WG remains honourable through all these actions.
1. He was hunted with a track. We did not betray any trust - no members were tagging along.
2. With the exception of one member, there was no flaming or threats
3. We fought with proper gear and the usual codes of honour

When Keanu got sour over this, he contacted me... making several demands.

"We will give you neutrality if you do these things for us:
1. Alain must apologise for the hit publicly
2. You must pay the exact amount we lost in gear, 447k.
3. You must promise never to attack us in the wild unless we ask for a fight.

When I pointed out how ridiculous his terms were, he called us dishonourable.
WG offering them peace has no benefit to us at all. It was a favour.
They were acting like they were giving us this amazing gift.
In fact, he should have been pleading us for it, not demanding it.

After I pointed out that he had been mocking us, calling us dishonourable etc... we became rivals. They will be seeking to bring us down.
We will therefore be acting in a preventative way by hunting them more regularly.

We will remain honourable while we do this, which means:
1. We will not RPK them if they are stupid enough to skill in the wild (don't put it past them)
2. We will not crash planned fights
3. We will not flame or threaten at all

So now that they are full blown enemies, I might as well share this.

Oh well, if he wants to be a dick about it he can get whats coming to him. And TS don't even PK so there goes his plan.

Keanu should know, TS only really raid with Us. like mark said.

And tbh they have really under estimated TS. Interesting chat read though.

They're pumped and quite mad. I popped in there IRC yesterday and just wanted a nice chat, all they'd do is call WG scum and flamers, and try and give me Bullshit. So i just said, Say what you want and left.

At the time of the Hit TBK had 8 members to our 11, they could have easily fought back and taken a few of us out if coordinated enough.

I'm not a hater, but I have to agree after this reading of what Gene has to say. It looks to me like the decision was pretty clear.

what the fuck happened with him? I used to like this dude.. Then he runs off to start a new clan. Copying all of WG's codes and honours, WG's designs and taking our old members. Then he cries because we won't have it. That's what it's all about. I don't give a shit if he thinks it's not fairplay that we hit his clan. When we're out pking/warring we kill people we can. That includes the lowest levels within range.

Fuck this.. Keanu has made me mad now. I would have just ignored him.. But I guess we need to go hunt them at every given opportunity we get.

I had a ridiculously long talk with Keanu. Him and I will always stay msn friends or whatever but in terms of runescape and a clan, I'm so freaking done with him. Period. I'm glad this has happened.
