Laptop Problems

By Dieyou2000 on 03/03/2011
Yeah my laptop decided that it suddenly didn't even want to turn on. Took it in to BestBuy and they confirmed it wasn't a battery problem, so it'll be a week and a half to two weeks until I get it back. I can still play on my desktop at my dad's house, and I have a full warranty on the laptop so it isn't a huge deal but yeah no laptop for about two weeks.

/rant

Tbh it's probably because my mom kept shutting it off by just pressing the power button and holding it down until it shut off and I kept getting the "your computer was not shut down properly" when I turned it back on. Fucking dumbass adults that don't know you don't just force shutdowns when a computer is on. eh w/e i'll just turn it off if i'm not around from now on

/end rant

My mom doesn't even touch my laptop. lol
It just freezes and I have to reboot it like that, this could only end badly.

Mine was doing that, do a complete system restore (from factory settings) after you remove all wanted data onto a external hard drive, wont shut down on you anymore - if it does, have a look at your fan, it may be clogged with dust if its not spinning or if its overheating, if so just take it apart (there are guides everywhere on the net) and clean it out). It is worth the time.

It's not that.
The battery for my laptop somehow got fucked and it affects my laptop in that way.
Happens mostly if I unplug my laptop.
