Damien Wolfe

1. Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) :
I'll be strait with you: I don't remember much of my RS history. I remember being a member of RSD for a time, as well as being in a small clan my real-life friends created, but everything else is a blur at best, black hole at worst.
I started out with the name Lil Junior because I thought it was "strait thug" back in the day. Even though I grew out of my "thug" phase in high school and transitioned to emo/goth, I never cared to change it (I'm not sure if I even could change it back then...). I am now a bit more aged than "pants on the ground," so I decided to change it to a username I RP with in other games.
The name Damien Wolfe is actually quite interesting to explain. My family's last name is Wolf and I have a Wolf tattoo, so being the uncreative person that I am, I chose to throw a silent (but deadly) "e" at the end of Wolfe and keep it. Damien is just a name I've always liked.
2. Tell us more about yourself (Your age, where you are from, gender, Hobbies, Music, What you dislike/like):
Can I just copy this from my dating profile? Actually, that one's a joke, been happily with my current girlfriend (through the best and worst of times) for a year and a half.

Lets start with the physicals:
I am male, 6'2, 200 lbs, bald head, green eyes. Bodybuilder. Three tattoos, one of a tribal dragon on my right arm, one of a tribal wolf on my left, and a tribal phoenix for a back piece. I fit comfortably into a pair of carpenter jeans, plain tee shirt, and camo hat (or beanie my girlfriend knit me, or my black cap. I wear hats often since the baldness is either a sunburn invitation or freezing cold). I bench press around 180 lbs (got tendinitis in my wrist last week and eased off the bench, stuck to 150). I am a country boy: I prefer farms to suburbs; woods to parks; fresh air to smog; green and brown to steel and gray. I am also incredibly aggressive (alpha male dominant) in real life, but not so much over the internet.

I like to keep my life simple: I don't get heavily involved in politics, don't really follow organized religion, don't care for hustle bustle or fast-talk. I enjoy hunting, fishing, swimming, working out, working on the farm, listening to music, and most of all just being outside. I also enjoy gaming, but you already knew that.
3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan:
I was asking around actually. Not many clans adhere to the "old school" honor system of wildy fights, and most clans don't give two cents for F2P fights anymore. Since WG has been around a while, I have hopes that you too remember the days of losing 5 sets of rune in one PK trip because we ran into an enemy clan. I sure do. Found you guys (and gals, I'm not sexist) on tip.it and decided to check ya'll out.
4. Are there any current WG members who you already know:Not that I know of or remember, sorry. If one of you knows me though, say hi!

Thanks for the welcomes.
I'd like to make a quick note that I am not going to apply right away. I need to get my bank stocked with the proper PvP gear (which means I must start making money) and I'd like to get 90 ranged as well before applying.

What I love about the intro is that you're into the old-school fights.
The clan world, in my opinion, has gone too far toward no-lifing.
People like you are particularly valuable to WG because you have the perfect vision. We want to restore the old days as well, where the win didn't come at the cost of your real life.
I should be upfront with you though and say that our f2p and p2p ratio is not what you migth expect. We're only about 30% f2p and 70% p2p. That's what our members like.
Bonus points also for you being a bodybuilder. 180lb bench press is awesome. That's EXACTLY how much I bench for a couple of reps. I can go a little higher if I had to test my one rep max.

On a good day I can press 190, but can't keep the rhythm.
As far as f2p to p2p goes, I don't really care too much if the fights devolve into P2P. I have teleblock and intend to have 90 ranged before I apply, and 90 mage shortly after I apply, so I should be able to keep the pace (after a bit of training) with the best of you.
I'm at a dilemma though. All of my training is going to cost me an arm and a leg, so either I start fishing again to get my GDP up or I sell off one of my santas. The latter option isn't too appealing since they're be worth hundreds of millions in a few years, so it looks like the former will have to suffice. I've already stocked up on most of the required PvP gear pieces, however I am still lacking a few (about a mil worth, give or take) so I'll have to devote some funds to that as well.
Like I said, I'm giving myself a week's time frame before I start selling off assets. Hopefully in that week I'll get to know a few of you better over IRC.

Not to my recollection, no. Maybe five years ago? I recognized His Lordship, but no one else (including the clan), sorry
If I was a part of WG in the past, I apologize upfront for not acknowledging it. I really don't remember all I did back when I played forever ago. I do remember I was a colossal prick to most people though (not too proud of that, btw), but everything else is a blur.

I love to be outside. I go camping in the rustic areas of the National Forest located in PA. I live in the middle of a forested area as well.
I see all types of wildlife. We have a lot of turkey, deer, squirrels, fish, birds, rabbits, and ect. . . We have a mother black bear we occasionally see with her cubs. I love to fish but skirmish about the worm on the hook. I'll look forward to talking to you in irc.
Nice that you have a training plan in mind. If you add me and talk in rs to me I'll make sure I add you back as well. You will find a lot of nice people in WG.

Quick update for the masses:
-I started at 82 ranged Saturday. I just hit 87 (out of 90). I'm changing my goal from the end of the weekend to early weekend.
-A friend of mine is quitting RS and giving me his stuff.. All 300+million of it. I need to find out if I can take it without breaking Jagex rules (chances are I can, but want to make sure) and what I'm going to do with it. It's looking like I might invest it in the GE, but I already have two santas, so I'm unsure of this course of action. Any suggestions? Maybe infernal ashes, or would it be more efficient to level prayer from 82-99 using PC or SW?
