Well I decided that I needed to get 80 Firemaking by the time my shade burning event happened on Sunday (tomorrow).

This is because mage pyres can only be burnt at lvl 80 fm and they give the best keys and therefore the best rewards.

So on Monday evening at aproximately 7.30pm GMT I decided to go for it and try to get it by the Sunday.

Got 75 a few days later:

Finally managed to clench 80 today.

I had wanted to wait until my event to get 80, however foolishly I made a complete hash of things. I got 312 exp away with maple logs, was being extra careful.
Decided to make some mage pyre logs, completely by accident made one too many, I was 1 exp over -.-

So I got it
