Cypher's Introduction

1. Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) :
Well, my RS history started in 2004 when I was playing random games on Miniclip. I saw a link to Runescape, made an account, and started playing. I don't remember much, other than someone telling me Santa was handing out yo-yo's in Varrock. So I'm fairly sure my account creation was about December 2004. I originally named my account "Mallister" which meant absolutely nothing! I just started putting letters together until I had a name that didn't have numbers. When the name change came about, I changed my name to "Malus Mortis" which is Latin for "bad/evil death." Just recently, I changed my name to "Cypherex" because I really like the name "Cypher" but that was taken. I then tried "Cypher X" but that was also taken. So I added the "X" into the name making "Cypherex."
I played solo for a long time, until in May of 2007 I was approached by Coma_3 and offered to join The Death Monkeighs. I joined, and after 2 and a half years there, I earned the highest position in the clan, Admin. I helped lead TDM for a while, until in June 2010 there was a forum incident where an ex-admin still had access to the Admin Control Panel. He gave some ex-members administrative access, who were all good friends of mine. They caused havoc on the forums for a while, and I kind of just watched, though I didn't participate myself. After an hour or so, I removed their access and fixed what damage I could, but the other admins (rather hastily might I add) removed and banned me from the clan since they thought I was the mastermind of the operation. I explained to them that they were wrong, but they decided that the hour I chose not to act was still grounds to ban me. I felt the entire decision was unfair, but I do acknowledge that I should have acted faster.
As for my RuneScape career, I consider myself an all-around player. I've skilled, PK'd, warred, done minigames, staked, held a quest cape (working on getting it back), and everything else in the game. I've yet to attain any 99s, but I think I might get magic soon (currently 94, almost 95). In October 2009, I was offered Pmod status, and I accepted. I defeated Jad at the lowly level of 92 in May 2007, and am currently working on a myriad of goals. Of these include: Livid farm spells, elite seer's tasks, overloads, regaining my quest cape, and more.
Note: I am currently 108 f2p combat. I'm working on 110 now and will have it before I apply.

My name is Jake and I'm a 19 year old college student in the United States. Last I checked, I am indeed a male. I enjoy pretty much anything related to computers and have taken an interest in karate. I play most intramurals for my fraternity's team and mostly listen to hip-hop/rap/pop.
3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan:
Well, I was previously allied with you guys as a part of TDM. I've been going solo for almost a year now, and decided I'd like to get back into the clan community. I've always liked WG, and so here I am hoping to join.
4. Are there any current WG members who you already know:
I know some noob named Kevin (KevCross). I've also met Gorgemaster, he's pretty cool.
5. Any additional comments:

Malus, it's great to see you again... I don't believe we've talked since the TDM incident all that time again.
For the record, as you know, although I, like all the WG staff, tried to keep our distance from the problem, as we weren't given all the details and what we were given conflicted entirely... I think you did a great, fair job in doing what you could, and they were very wrong to ban you.
Either way, it's all in the past, and I am so excited that you are joining WG, you will be very warmly welcomed and you will definitely fit in well

Thanks everyone. I'll keep you updated on these levels. Hitting 90 attack soon and then either a str or def level to 109. Then 2 or 3 levels in str/def with about 3 prayer levels should put me at 110. Hopefully I'll have it within this next week.

Just letting you guys know how things are. I'm one strength level from 109 now, and will be at 110 shortly after. This week was brutal at college so I avoided playing any RuneScape. Not sure how much longer it'll take me, but I'm training diligently. Just a project and 2 final tests left before I'm done with the semester.

Yeah, I haven't even logged into RuneScape in the last week. I just picked up a full time job and will be doing other things (volunteering at the hospital, shadowing doctors, etc.). So I might just cancel my RuneScape membership for the summer and come back in the Fall when I'm less busy (ironic, lol).

Yup, it's official. I have to withdraw my RuneScape membership. I'm now working a full-time job, a part-time job, along with volunteering activities and spending what little free time I have with friends and family. I'll still hang around WG's forums, but I probably won't be applying until Fall.
