Jagex Rated Clan Wars Competition

You can find the official Jagex post about this here.
Basically it is a tournament in the new Clan Wars located at the Clan Camp.
This wouldn't really be challenging, but would have some fun fights (Max Gear as well)
Also you don't have to worry about it costing money, as your items are safe on death AND you are provided with food to fill up your inventory spaces that heal 20% of your life points.
Thoughts? We can do F2P, P2P or both.

I think we'd be losing more by not attending than we would by attending. Great chance for practice and to get WG's name out there, especially if we do decently well in the tournament.

mark no rsb clan is doing this surprisingly lol all those clan's hate jagex. To them 'the j mod are ruining warring by making their own tournaments and ladders.'

Sounds pro, they should enable a clan quing system for this so you can do rated clan wars on the fly. Max gear inc!

I voted yes, but I'm concerned that the cost of gear for being a clan member may go up to far for some of our members. I hope the plan is to keep this for fun and practice. I'm not to supportive of adding 10 million on to the gear requirements we already have.

Only cost in this tournament is the runes Rach. Edit: And arrows.
In regards to the gear, we should give people a bit of time to get the gear aren't we?

We wouldn't require much. It'll be more like... bring the best you can.
It's for fun after all.
But it'll be nice if people could lend each other gear and whatever else other people need if they are poor.
We would like to see barrows at the minimum for P2P, and just regular rune is fine for F2P (DG Weapons would be awesome though!)

Yes, no top clan will compete (probably) so WG might have a chance at winning or placing high which means a lot of publicity/recruits
