Serenity war essentials

If you need to re-familiarize yourself with the Serenity war details and rules, click here.

Please spend five minutes and read over the essential information about this war.
Thank you.

Things that EVERYONE needs to know:
  • Switch to ancients prior to massing. This is not optional.
  • Be on TeamSpeak AT LEAST 30 minutes before the start of the war. We will start going over everything at that time.
  • You MUST be in Airbender's friend's chat.
  • Looting of items other than food will NOT be tolerated!!!
  • Don't fuck around -- plain and simple. If you do not take this war seriously and give it your all, we will not win.

Tanking
The basics steps of tanking in P2P:
    1. Chuck on your quick prayers -- Protect Melee, Steel Skin, Mystic Might, Rapid Heal, and Protect Item is what you should have set.
    2. Equip your tank gear -- black d'hide body, dragon skirt, and ***phoenix necklace***.
    3. Eat quickly -- rocktail, then brew in quick succession. Rocktail, then brew. Rocktail, then brew. Stay at your highest HP possible at all times. Keep your prayer points up too.
    4. Run -- if not frozen or dragon spear'd.

  • Try and switch your overhead prayers based on what style is on you the most.
  • Make sure your overhead prayer is up at all times -- if you get specc'd with a dragon scimitar, get your prayer back up ASAP.
  • Always make sure you have a phoenix necklace equipped -- click "equip" on one in your inventory even if you're 100% sure you're already wearing one.

Recommended Gear Setups:
If you are inexperienced at P2P warring and don't know what to bring, model these pictures.
If you are experienced at P2P warring, use these pictures as an example, but modify to your own preferences.

Dragon skirts are required for everyone. Even if you die 5 times in this war, you will not lose your dragon skirt if you use protect item -- just make sure to keep your prayer up while tanking. If for some reason you fail to protect your dragon skirt upon death, you will not be required to return in another one. If you need a dragon skirt, you may purchase one from Zooby or KevCross at the mass spot.

Dragon spears are required for everyone. If you have a dragon spear in your inventory with a full spec bar, switch to it and use those specs. If you are meleeing, you may also choose to use a dragon scimitar spec. attack.

Mage & Spear

Notes:
  • It is recommended you have Melee Protect and Protect Item prayers activated at all times.

  • If for some reason you run out of runes, pick some up off the ground or pick up a dragon scimitar.

  • If you're being piled often and not using all of your runes, return with less runes.

  • If you're being piled often, you may opt to return with water staff for ancient staff and power amulet for glory amulet.

  • Under NO CONDITION are you allowed to return in moonclan/skeletal (aka welfare).

Range & Melee -- ONLY IF 95+ RANGED:

Notes:
  • It is recommended you have Piety/Eagle Eye and Protect Item prayers activated at all times.

  • Style switches are **EXTREMELY** important. If the pile is protecting range, switch to your scimitar. If the pile is protecting melee, switch to your crossbow. If your switches are spot on, we will win this fight.

  • If you're being piled often, you may opt to return with power amulet for glory amulet.

  • Under NO CONDITION are you allowed to return in any type of "welfare" gear.
