Statement on Teams

First let me quote a section of our Rules.

WG Has Priority Over Other Clans * You are allowed to join Skilling Clans or Community-only clans * However, you may not be in another PVP clan apart from the Wilderness Guardians. * You may join PVP teams, but do remember that if you skip a WG mandatory for a team's event, no matter how important it is, we WILL find out. * Raids, Wars, PKRI's and major non-wilderness events (such as anniversary events) have priority over the events of any other clan or team. |
If WG has an event and you skip to go to your team's event, punishments will be handed out.
You are here for us and for them only in your spare time. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS.
An incident occurred today in which a team consisting of several WG members hit us on a raid.
The WG members present refused to take part in the fight.
This is unacceptable in two ways:
1. If you're with us, you're with us. WG always takes priority.
2. If your team openly declares itself hostile to WG then you are not allowed to be in it.
If you have a problem with any of these rules then you'll have to leave your team or WG.

Wizard has explained his situation to me and promised they would not hunt us.
This message applied to anyone and any team they are in.

No issue here, and wizard has a topic on his site declaring that we wil NOT, repeat NOT, be hitting wg, so quit acting like he was trying to hunt us. And as far any1 who thinks that by staying out of the fight earlier, I had put my team ahead of my clan, you are sadly mistaken. If I had truly done that, i would have simply joined their pile instead of staying neutral. I simply decided to avoid joining either side in the fight because I didn't want to be on bad terms with either group as I have many friends in both of them.
Edit: Sorry if this post seems disrespectful, I was simply trying to be honest about what went down.

Happened to me. Ive ran into TPR Before. Still never would leave wg.

Seems to me the problem was that people who pk with wizzard didnt want to fight TPK but in a run in like that it shouldnt be an issue. Way i see it is if you pk with TPK and your out with WG and you run into TPK you fight TPK and if you win you win and if you loose you loose.
Either way you got a fight in the wild which is what you set out to do and you just say good fight to TPK and have a laugh about it with them. Its only pixles its not like if you attack them in wild your stabbing them in the back.
Its a total different story if TPK hunt WG or if WG hunt TPK but a random run in with TPK is bound to happen especially they way they pk revs. They pick a world and move down the list. If a place has been cleared they jump ahead a few worlds in order to try find a team.

Good post.
There are loads of WG members who are in teams, so it's not as if WG is saying that you can't be in one, you just need to give US your attention when we have mandatory events.
It's not like we're asking anything unreasonable... you joined the clan, so be a part of it

You should have fought against TPK in that situation -- you were obligated to.
Teams in the clan world realize that clan loyalty is valued more than team loyalty. Therefore, TPK shouldn't have had a problem with it. And, as you said, if they are your friends, they would have realized this as well and would not have been mad at you.

They didn't attack me, the only people they attacked were the ones who continued to attack after wiz tried to call it off.

I'm just glad the WG raid was called before the TPK pk trip otherwise there would have definately been serious WG on WG and we'd have another Lordy's speech on our hands!

Be glad I wasn't the one making the decision on what to do with the members who broke our rules. *looking at warn logs* I think you all got off easy.
Seriously in the future any thing like this happens with any team it should be 40% warn for Guardian + rank and an instant kick for trials. You have to know that your main clan comes before any team or skill clan. Like others said, it only pixels. If your team/clan friends don't get this, then they are not really good friends.

If i joined a team it'd only be a CWA one for practice...so it wouldn't interfere ever. But then again im not high enough level for any teams yet
