What now...

By Jayson on 21/05/2011
We have Randy leaving in 2 weeks.

Kevin leaving in 3 weeks.

And Rachel considering leaving.

Can we even fill those shoes?

Only person I think worthy of Council is Vephy... and that includes all EL's / RL's

Let's enjoy whatever happens in the next 3 weeks regardless.

Well, after that council meeting we just had, it seems that everybody's pretty content with WG dying off.

I'm not. I'm a fighter.
Trust me, we've been through worse.
It's not even crossing my mind.

Look, I'm going to give it 100% regardless of what happens and what we choose.

But I don't see how we could recover from this.

I have been around through alot of bad stages.

Dale/Mugger leaving at our peak in 2008, Darth solo council in 2009...

But right now, it seems like our members want WG more as a PK team instead of a warring clan.

Erm, yea... Considering that most wars(especially PKRIs/returning-enabled wars) just mean we lose gear and have to spend hours returning for no appreciable gain(Aside from ranked wars)... What's the point? PK trips on the other hand -- provided we find action -- tend to allow for clanmate chatter on TS, provide a little loot overall, and tend to provide hours of fun.

I don't see why WG members wanting that would be surprising...

Eh, see. Clanning is meant to be about joining a clan, to fight other clans.

If you want loot, you join a pk team.

PKing can't get you the action you get from being in a clan fight.

Bleak as you may call it, I have seen worse.
D Day made everything pale in comparison.

As a clan we have too much to stop.
Too much history, too much respect.
Too much purpose, too much fame.

It is my greatest gift to you that no matter what, I will persevere.
We have an amazing core of members who will stand by us no matter how rough, brought on from our good community.

I'm going to take on Randy's dream as my own, and see that this summer bears fruit for us.

You can crumble like pebbles around me lady and gentlemen, but I stand firm with my clan.

I don't want to drag up bad times but this is not all that bad compared to the Stokenut in council the last time around. I can think of some others as well.

I will never ever agree with anyone about Muggers ever doing anything good for this clan. It is just the way I remember the history and the experience of him in council. Worst council ever IMO. It didn't have to do with his ability in war, but more his personal attitude of being a superior human being with good looking hair.

I'm not even close to giving up. Bring it on Summertime and let's get ready. Gene, you know I've been council alone with you before and we have Jayson now so I'm in for a great summer. That council meeting was more of a bitch session. Everyone complaining with no goals to get better. I'll work with the members and get them involved. It really has to be fun.

My Grandmother was my real issue since March 9 and hopefully this is going to be all worked out now. I felt like I somehow was the responsible one for Randy leaving council.
