Obama vs. Clinton
By Samurai-JM on 07/05/2008
Today's Primaries: North Carolina and Indiana.
NC is currently about:
Obama: 56%
Clinton: 42%
IN is currently about:
Clinton: 52%
Obama: 48%
ENDED UP BEING ABOUT THIS:
NC:
Obama: 58%
Clinton: 40%
IN:
Clinton: 50.5%
Obama: 49.5%
If Clinton wanted ANY chance of winning the nomination, she would've needed landslide victories in BOTH of these states, as well as all 6 upcoming states. She didn't achieve either today, and these were the last big ones. She's out.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT GO OBAMA!!!!!!!!@!@

I think they'd both make decent presidents
As long as they're better then Bush
Then again, you gotta admit Bush didnt have a great situation on his hands
By Karel Dude on 07/05/2008
Obama had won it as soon as he had taken the lead
By David on 07/05/2008
Awesome, I'm rooting for Obama.
Lordy, who's to say that with him as our president our healthcare system won't improve? He stands for change, and maybe this just isn't one of his main objectives, but something he has planned.
By Sherjac on 07/05/2008
TBH
I think both of them have made **** choices in my opinion you shouldn't leave Iraq or Afghanistan when you're so close to winning and they're both really offering the same thing we'll just have to see what they do when they get to the position
but they both do not look as good as Bush yet at least he actually made decisions
By General199 on 07/05/2008
McCain for 2008.
By Firelion08 on 07/05/2008
I don't really care who wins... As long as they do the job right.
But yeah, if I were to choose between Obama or Hilary..... Obama.
I dislike both of them, but moreso Hilary.
By General199 on 07/05/2008
If you were put in Bush's situation I am 99% sure you would have gone to war with the intelligence report that was given. You can't really just pass up on going to war with a country that is known for funding terrorist groups and expect to still be a safe country. Had the United States done nothing we would have continued to be attacked by terrorist groups.

This isn't the place, General.
Please delete it before an argument begins.

ok in my PERSONAL opinion neither of them will get the white house Bush's mob will win.
Unfortunate i know.
If obama gets it he will end up assasinated just because of his race which is sad because i think he could be quite good.
Clinton will be the American Thatcher - a prize cow who loves the old bit war.
so hopefuly obama wins and he doesn't get shot
This is my PERSONAL opinion alone if you dont agree with it thats fine but everyone is entitled to say what they think.

I don't think he will be shot. I think that he will be scrutinized to a point where it will be WAY to much pressure. Yes a lot of people say we are not ready for a black president but why the hell wouldn't we want one. Change is good and I think he could be a good change for this country. I don't see his views as good and I honestly do not want to see him as president. Nothing racial or anything.
By Kiwi011 on 07/05/2008
they are all crap candidates, and we will find that out soon probably. If Health care is better, taxes will raise more.....and if more jobs are made(like Bill did in his run, the change will cuase the gap from Lowerclass-Higher class to get even larger.....)
only way to really change our economy is to change how it runs dramatically....we screwed.

Close to winning? Winning WHAT? Freedom for people who don't want it from us? Destruction of weapons that don't exist? OR maybe it's merely for the vast fields of oil that are lining GWB's daddy's pockets?
By chip54321 on 07/05/2008
i agree kiwi, the US economy is in trouble, and there are a number of reasons for it. But i still hope Obama wins because he wants change and sounds like someone we can be proud of as president. I know were probably screwed either way, like you said, but i want just a bit of hope
EDIT: exactly samurai, GWB went in Iraq for profit and revenge
By Samurai-JM on 08/05/2008
BTW have any of you listened to their speeches? Both of them? There is a CONSIDERABLE difference in the way they speak, and what they speak about.
Obama represents REAL change, you can feel it in his words. I went to see him at my school and I was blown away.
Clinton however... She came to my school as well. She was there 2 hours late, while we were outside in the pouring rain mind you, and she stayed for 9 minutes. Obama stayed for over 2 hours.
Obama talks about the issues, and how to fix them. He cares about us and what we fight for every day. He knows what is wrong with the country and he has excellent plans for dealing with it. He also trusts in US, the people, to recognize the issues that we are facing and deal with them as well.
Clinton talks about nothing. She argues that some people Obama was associated in the past were bad people, and assaults his character daily. None of it matters in the least, such as this STUPID Reverend story, it is UTTERLY MEANINGLESS.
FFS OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE THE WORLD FOR WHAT IT IS.

I dont care, USA is far away from my country
But i think Obama will be better president then Clinton.
By Bambaleo on 08/05/2008
maby it's still strong in the US but take a look at Germany :/. Merkel won the elections...and now everyone sees that she can't do ****..so maby people are right when they say that women are not ready yet to be the head of a nation.
i hope Obama wins and Clinton gives him a bj.
By Spicy63 on 08/05/2008
I am in Favor of Obama,
I don't think Clinton's Election based on 'experience' was the right way to go, seeing as she has no more experience than any other candidate. (Being First Lady doesn not give you Presidential Experience).
Though, I can't say that I like any of the candidates that much more than any other at this time.
Side Note; This morning was the first time I heard Rush Limbough side in favor of Clinton after all the 'Operation Chaos' propaganda.

Exactly.'Operation Chaos'... I love it... lol
Rush is a fool.
He's not always right, but he's great most of the time -- In my opinion.
By rachellove9 on 08/05/2008
OMG I voted and I thought Clinton was black too. joking
Clinton helped China come up with a limit on how many children your allowed to have. I lost respect for her way back then when I heard the aweful things they were forced to do with the new laws. I dont know what the answer should of been but she just made it worse. IMO.
Bill Clinton changed how we all look at cigars. I could not stand him in the White House again as a first lady. lol
Really what does Color have to do with the way a person makes their decisions. We have to take responiblity for our actions no mater what color we are. My parents explained color to me as the shades of the earth..... white beach sand......red clay......the richest top soils....ect Everyone is equal but yet different.
I wont vote on color or gender. I think it is a shallow way of thinking. I will vote on moral issues and rights and health care and even personality. But I find it unbelievable how the media twists things to get their perferred view heard.

Lol....
By the time either obama or clinton are actually able to run for the presidentail spot they will have both commited political suicide by attacking each other so extensively during the race for nomination. By having 2 strong candidates running they have made the question "who will win" academic in the end....
In the end they are such a divided party now that McCain will sail in and win it anyway.
By rachellove9 on 09/05/2008
that is true McCain could win
