Andy Bear Banned

Andy Bear has leaked an Important Announcement to WizardofGod, and has subsequently been banned from WG.
He is a trial guardian and did not attend wars in any case, so I doubt he'll be missed.
I remind all members that leaking any private material is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban.
Furthermore, WizardofGod is banned from WG for promoting leaking within WG.

wtf is wizard doing? seriously I had respect for him before he was kicked from WG, but encouraging people to leak and knowing that will kept them banned? what is he even getting out of it?

He's not getting anything out of it, except for that fact that he thinks he's causing us turmoil. He doesn't even know how to use spies/leaks.

He deserved to be kicked for leaking but in all honesty if he was a trial he couldnt have leaked anything that was in anyway important.
In runescapes current state spies are almost usless. They were only ever any use for two things:
1: When clans were actually fought in the wild back in the good old days a spy could leak the world and allow an enemy clan to crash.
2: Tell enemys what world people were pking on and numbers and location.
Since ive been back at wg ive attended 6 wars i think (even though attendance only says 5) and all of these were held in clan wars, so basically they were safe wars, and ive been f2p pking once and there was no one online and rev pking several times and we met wizzards team once.
Basically my point is wg had a leak and its now been pluged so maybe council can stop banning (or temporarly suspending as they put it) random people. Spies are pointless in modern runescape.

Its not what they leaked, its the fact that they leaked WG only information to non WG, if someone does that then they are cleary breaking trust issues.

I am in no way defending the leaker or what they leaked its unacceptable for it to happen regardless of the information how ever i still don’t think it was handled in the most appropriate manner

Sent private message to all involved explaining the situation and giving them a set time limit for example a day, in order to make there case. 1 day wouldn’t effect the clan as far as leaking information was involved. I know that the wg is based off a hierarchy and not a democracy but doesn’t take away the fact that people should be given a chance to defend themselves before being punished.

I understand that and i know ive only been back awhile but it appears to me as an outsider in all the recent turmoil in wg that wg is more hostile towards its own members than any clan should ever be. The old wg i knew and loved always had a goal to unite people which always made all the disagreements seem less important and helped clan memebrs to bond over something else and move past there disagreements. Wg need a proper goal that all its memebrs can relate to and not just the "be a force to be reckoned with in p2p" that has been floating around the fourms.
