PVM Tourny

Laura from Aces of War approached me not very long ago. I reckon this could be a good thing to do, depending on the amount of people looking to do it, Except I'd need other peoples help as i could only run things during the Weekend. And I need to be able to get something like a program that i could log drops with if anyone knows anything about that.

<[[Laura]]> I was thinking in a 2 weeks comeptition, both clans will have to kill NPCs and the one who get more kills at the end wins
<[[Laura]]> there is a list of valid drops
<[[Laura]]> and a list of NPCs

<[[Laura]]> no, as long as you dont forget to take a screen of your alog, because thats the only way to prove you got the drop

So yeah i added in the DKS part so i could solo during the week and do my part then xD

sounds fun :]] ill try to make some bossing trips. how are we gonna do alog? i thought it only picks up stuff if you do lootshare or ffa

Two weeks may be to long of time. I am only going by past skill Olympic stuff. Usually after a week break from wars/raids cause that naturally happens as they are doing other things, the clan ends up with a slump.

The idea of doing it seems good. I think talk to 3 people in pm and get some input. That would be Vephyrus, Zemus and Maths. They all have been in pvm clans and see what they suggest. They might have some good insight on it. All of them have been in WG staff before and longer term members of WG.

Sounds fun as fuck.

This does sound rather fun, however I would worry about the amount of time & effort that staff/members would need to put into it (having to screenie alog's/kills etc will get tiresome quickly and I suspect some people will be too lazy to).

Maybe suggest that the competition should be based upon 'significant drops' or something like that, so set a 'minimum drop value' or some sort of way to manage drops (eg. dragon or better drops only, 'unique drops' like bandos gear, sigils etc. only or something along those lines) that way people will only have to include stuff that they normally would screenie anyway.

A new and fresh idea Sounds fun to me.

You should work it like Markenzies' monster hunt competition, sounds good though.

Declined because of the lack of alot of things that would effect the outcome of this dramatically.
