My downtown adventure.

By Kung Man149 on 02/06/2011
Okay, so what started off as a simple trip to the local music store downtown pretty much turned into an afternoon walking downtown with my guitar in tow, taking pictures of things I enjoy seeing. biggrin.gif

Here are the pictures I took. (More will be added next time I go downtown)

Parliament Hill in Ottawa Ontario Canada.

^Personally, I LOVE this picture.
It's a nice building in a nice locale. biggrin.gif

The view overlooking from Ottawa to Gatinau. (The Science and Technology Museum is shown in this picture. biggrin.gif)

^I like taking pictures here, just because of the water. biggrin.gif

Ottawa's famous Eternal Flame.

^This flame has NEVER gone out and still burns bright to this day.
The numbers around the Flame are based from when each province was founded.

Tomorrow, I'll go on McKenzie King bridge.

How does the flame burn in the snow/rain??

That's really cool by the way!

Erm, according to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centennial_Flame
it's shut off and relit each year, and sometimes when it snows or rains.

I've lived in Ottawa all my life and I've never seen it unlit.
So, I highly doubt that wiki article is accurate.
Although, the cleaning makes sense.
