Paterns emerging

We are getting alot of pornographic attacks on the forums, now this is either a group of people attacking us, or it is one person evading a ban.
The similarities are very clear, they are using the same type of porn and i have moved two identical topics which had the same images and links. There is also again today, two attacks both concerning something about "Supra Vs. Cobra Vs. Evo"
What are we going to do, we cannot just move it here and ban them as it obviously doesnt work.
Thoughts?

Is there a way that we can set it to where some one just registering on forums has to make one post in an open topic before they make a new topic? Or we have to approve the first post?

I don't know if it would be worth it but maybe we could make it so admins have to validate new accounts.

If you really want to stop the porn posting and spamming, then I think the only way is as Anat said, to have all accounts validated before posting rights are given
If intros and new members cannot wait that long, then surely they don't deserve to be in this clan

Has been suggested, will be too much of a detterent to new applicants

In my old clan that I created and led I made it so that I previewed all new applicants and validated them myself.
Was it a problem? No because we still had over 50 members....

I don't see how validation is a hassle to applicants... many clans use that and they seem to be doing fine. If the member really wants to get in he'll wait patiently to get validated.

How long would it seriously take to approve one post? We have 20 global mods. Council, App managers, Tertiaries (forum mods, event & raid leaders). There is almost always 2 or more of us online.

If it's Child Porn get the FBI or someone involved, when they create the e-mail they register here with their computer's IP is logged.
