Monthly Goals

This is a form of suggestion but I think this would be the best place to discuss it first. We should go with a sort of monthly goals that the clan should shoot for. For instance one goal could be to gain X number of members by the end of the month. Lets say we have "50" and we want "60" by the end of the month. We could do this month to month. Up until we reach a satisfactory amount. Along with going up in numbers we will need to keep our combat average up. We can also do a goal of getting a certain combat average at the end of the month. Another good goal I can think of is to have no one kicked from the clan. The best of all in my mind is a goal of pulling X amount of people to a war. Each month when we reach that goal we can set the bar a bit higher.

So we have...
Goal of X number of members at end of month.
Goal of combat average by end of month.
Goal of not having anyone kicked from the clan for that month.
Goal of pulling X amount of people to a war.

What other goals do you think are worth or good to the cause. We should pick out a group of 5 goals to shoot for each month. I think that 5 goals is tough but not that hard enough to handle for us.

Interesting idea and I like it.
I do worry a bit that setting goals that we don't meet could demoralize us, but on the other hand if we meet or exceed them, it only makes the growth and attitude that much better.

So if the goals were reasonable and good, it would be a nice idea.

That is one of the big things about these. You do not really want to set goals that is difficult to make. Then when you get let down at the end of the month you feel bummed out. It feels a lot better when it is a string of simple goals that you pass that we feel good about ourselves.

Its a good idea, and it could also show our strengths and weaknesses

An interesting idea Not sure how things would change though, i mean to say that we're already recruiting well, no? And combat level increasing is obviously a big thing atm what with Pro Silentium. I dont see how things like those would change to become any better than they already are.

The ones like you said like 'Not having a member kicked from the clan for a month' and 'Pulling the most people to a war' are valid alternatives, but the whole 'Not having a member kicked from the clan' could possibly encourage the council not to kick someone who in fact needs to/deserves to be kicked :S And the 'Pulling as many people to a war as possible' thing is also a big thing being worked on by WG staff atm what with the CWPL and mandatory sign-ups etc :\ I don't see how things would be changed to improve when already the steps are being taken :S Could you elaborate on your idea? <3

sounds like a good idea, would make us more competitive. My one concern is going too far for the goal and letting just anyone into WG and rushing the application process.

I think that is a great Idea. It will show how much we are improving. Especially in wars I think it will be perfect for that. Your a good thinker Nolan <3

Following up on Mugger's post.

I do not think that goals would hurt us. A combat average goal would actually be even more incentive for the clan to train. Yes the Pro Silentium is going but a combat average goal in general would be incentive for the whole clan to train up there combat in which ever way possible.

Pulling a certain amount of people as a goal would motivate even more people to want to be there to break that goal. Mandatory sign ups are great but wouldnt you want a few more people that might not be there just cause they dont want to but instead be there cause they want to meet the goal.

What kind of goals do you guys think should be implemented.

I think this is a good idea. It would be good for the clan tos set goals. To test how well we fair with them. Good thinking General.

sounds like a good would be good for the clan to set oals gives us something to work towards and keep us focused and on track

Idk, but for me. I fail to see the point. Goals are good and all but well. Idk...I fail to see why to do it =/
