War Prep Vids

Anyone think that bringing back some of the old war prep vid ideas would be good?
I have IMovie, and although it isn't flash and won't be like flash, I think I would be willing to but together a couple minute movie each week to prep us for war and stuff.

They would be far more slideshowish narrated by me, but I could make them funny and try n make them minorly helpful rofl.

Anyone think it'd be a good idea?

I don't want you all to think I'll be doing the 10 hour production Flash wonders that he did.
Mine would be far simpler, but still effective.

Well it'd be cool to have one that's applicable to all or most F2p wars, as a tutorial for newer members...

I remember when he made the one for the DOA war. Was really well done, and he made sure everything was covered.

If you decide to do this, it'll take a lot of time.

Would you be looking for videos that did things right and show what something looks like when done properly, or take our clan videos and point out flaws and say "Do not do that!" Or would it be a mix of both?

tbh i doubt there'd be anything to show, back in the days of the wilderness there was tactics used, new lands different ways to master each land.

Now its just an arena. It would be a similar video each time.

Perhaps like Snow and Jaxx suggested I could just make one semi-decent one that would be a good watch for new members and maybe as a refresher before wars. That way we wouldn't have to worry about it getting leaked either since it wouldn't be any secrets.

And Colonel it would be a positive video. Meaning I would be saying "Do this" "Here is what you should be wearing" etc, not telling them not to do something else.

yeh ild say make one on how to war, rather than how to fight in the upcoming war. Vital tactics... they don't really exhist anymore =/

The time and effort into making a war prep video is very large, just keep that in mind, i remember Gene staying up long hours just to make some of his prep vids... i think that's what it was for anyway.

If you did it well, i think this would be very useful for those incoming members who struggle when it comes to wars etc. If you could make a video-based tutorial i think this would help greatly.

And tbh i like dale's idea of getting people to sing for it

Hehe, I always loved watching the prep vids, Eugene's charm and weird sense of Humour always entertained me. Along with that, it did provide vital information like war gear and what to bring (yes, back then we were so stupid we needed the leaders to tell us ).
