We got rocked :$
They had really high levels, I think the lowest was 127. They all had full veracs and d spears, so tanking was basically impossible. We still tried and put up a fight, but not a good one
they're gear was simply better than ours and thats not how wars should be so don't worry about it.

Info: Sunday, February 3 Mass at 3:00 PM Clan time Starts at 3:45 PM Clan time Rules: 10 v 10 Melee only, NO ranged or magic Any melee gear is allowed (that means godswords, full veracs, etc etc) NO SARA BREWS No summons Teamcapes only (you have to wear our teamcape, no firecaps/skillcapes) Boundaries B:  Please make sure you have read all the rules, if anyone breaks them you will be punished. Wear the best gear you have. Take full veracs if you can. Always have protect from melee on during the fight. As I'm F2P right now and it takes 2 weeks for me to get members, I can't be there. |

Yeah...d-spears...should have thought about that. That is something to remember for next p2p war.
Since almost everyone had veracs, using melee prayer was pretty useless. When I got piled I reacted how I usually do and turned on prayer immediately. If I had just concentrated on eating and running and turned prayer on later when I had shaken them off, I might have lasted alot longer! Unfortunately I only lasted long enough to eat 3 tuna potatoes, lol.
I think you are missing a few ppl in that attendance pic...including me

Unfortunate to see that happen. Miniwars shouldn't be determined by gear. Oh well though.

Sure, gear played a large part in their win, but that is not to say if the gear was equal that we would have won.
They beat us in levels, gear, and organization. If not the gear, it would have been the levels; if not the levels, it would have been the organization. Blaming it on the gear is not going to make us better, nor is it good conduct--If we beat a clan fairly in a war I would not appreciate them saying it was just because we had better gear.

No worries, it wasn't necessarily a good fight but at least we had fun (Y). They had the upper hand with levels and gears.
At least for myself, I realized the usefulness of D spears in melee-only fights. That's pretty cool. I guess we could get prepared with more purple sweets for important P2P fights next time and perhaps, in our team:
- a few dudes with d scims for Anti-prot pray specs
- a few with d spear for stuns (melee-only fights)
- the rest with at least a dds. It helps when they are poisoned ;$

tbh i wasnt too impressed by their organisation, but their lvls and gear pulled through. we had fairly good organisation i found, ppl were saying the taget over ts and where that target was.
another point. super energies/purple sweets. i dont think some people brought them and thus had 2 walk. i wen through 2 full super energys by half way so yeah

well, i didnt get to fight but oh well....hopefully we can win next time.
