Hey!

By Abmanju on 14/06/2008
Alright, so the war was bad huh? Yeah it was bad, I have to say. Lets review it:

-Sudden Start, Right? When you saw them rushing in, and was like "Oh Crap, Wth, Who do I attack? And then all the leaders were hectic on TS, yeah I know", RE rushed in really early. DZ has a screenshot of RE Rushing while DZ on Msn talking to RE, and the last message was something similar to "Tell us when you Rush".

-BINDERS, The whole war was about Infinite Run, we were all scared to put our bind gear on, I don't blame you, RE are scary at times lol. I was scared to put my bind gear on, there were continuous snipers on us.

-TS Shouting, Hell yes, for once, TS was unclear, heck, even I couldn't hear out myself. Alex had voice on TS, I'm sorry, that was my fault, the fact that he's not in WG and does not know how WG worked slipped my mind, and how he was in DF came into play, and you know, he was an extra person looking after a certain someone's account. So there were like 4 Leaders talking on TS, the sudden rush in of RE members took us by surprise, leaders went a tad hectic.

-Bad Timing, Did you feel good before the war? Were you really reading to kick some RE butt? The Morale was really low, this is mainly because leaders were very negative of the fact that hardly any Aussies could come (For the ones that did, Thank you so much, please, come again <3). RE Really did give us some SHIT timings there. 7pm GMT, 2pm EST, that's pretty bad for WG, all of the fights we did at 10pm GMT, we have won. This low morale thing led to a LOT of Ko's.

-The Tanking of RE contrasting to WG. Alright, so you may have noticed that we DID pile many of the higher levels first, this is mainly because they were right next to us, and with previous experience of easy ko's, we'd be attacking them, but when we did, the tanked the shit out of us. This is something to note down, and to try and kill most of the 105's-115's first.

This loss to RE: it's not a bad thing, don't see it as a bad thing, that's something WG would never do, we should be positive. Our flaws that I stated above, LETS FIX THEM. RE is a pretty tough clan, and on one of the most horribly timed nights, I think we did pretty well, considering all the crappy rules they had given us. Lets use this as a goal, lets IMPROVE, and we'll OWN RE tomorrow.

It was a one off for us, we won around 5 in a row fights, we managed to get amazing kos and success to clans that are above us in the RAW Rank, people underestimate us way to much, lets use these flaws and improve:

-Binding.
-Leaders being more clear.
-Quick Pile Transitions.
-Don't get Ko'ed; be alert.
-Better atmosphere & time.

LETS DO THIS WG, NOTHING HAS GOT US DOWN, DON'T LET THIS BE THE FIRST, LETS BEAT RE AT THE MATCHED OPTIONS TOMORROW.

Good post Abs, I couldn't think of anything to add smile.gif

This war was a wake-up call for many of us.

By Yingyang06 on 14/06/2008
A very nice, and our front post Abs. I agree that this was a wake up call and i hope the Matched Opts war with RE tomorrow will go more smoothly than this war went.

Alot of bad things have been said, alot of posts have been made and we need to better ourselfs and if their is a problem we need to speak about it, not speak our minds publicly.

By Randy on 14/06/2008
ilu abs.

It was just one loss, no big deal.
Lets do this <3

By DZ on 14/06/2008
This is our first loss in a very long time, don't let it get to you.

Now it is very clear on what we have to improve on, so next time we will be much better.

By Yingyang06 on 14/06/2008
Just been reading over the RSC post. Nice baits and flaming from RE and WG.

By George on 14/06/2008
We always knew that RE was going to be a tough battle and even though we lost we have learnt a great deal.
We (as humans) make mistakes and that's how we learn.

Tomorrow we will do a lot better and that goes for the future as well.

A positive from the war:

We pulled like 15 more members than them I believe with us pulling 61, that's not amazing, but considering the times it's pretty good!

Look back at our wars a few months ago, say February.
We were pulling 20-30.

Keep it up WG, we can do this!

I just want to post a rant here . You have made it clear that Emertitus members need to attend wars.
I signed up ..possibly like in the first ten people asking to be added to the member list so I could fight.
I wasnt, this saddens me a lot. I was a leader here for a long time, and I still want to help out WG.
I feel like I am no longer needed in any capacity here though, I am not even needed to help fight when I want to.
At this point why bother?
It obvious you all no longer need or want me around, so do what you want about my member status.
I still care a lot, more than I thought. I had hoped I was beyond the ability for you all to hurt me, guess I was wrong.
Thanks for the last ..fuck you jenny it means a lot.

Even though we lost it just shows what we need to do tomorrow. I'll practice more cause I know I'll need it. Good Luck tomorrow.

By David on 15/06/2008
I wasn't there, but everything there is sound advice for us as a clan, and each of us individually. Everyone can take away something from that.

One thing I'd suggest is we be more forceful when setting up rules. Let's not agree to these shit times anymore. We let them have the times that suited them, and then the extra 30 minutes. We should be more aggressive, and just said that we agreed to their times and they are the ones who aren't ready? Depending on the rules, we may have been able to claim victory by default, but that may not have looked good for us.

In any case, let's try not to just agree to the other clans' demands even if it means a long time before the rules are set. If we don't have enough people with infinite run, and they want it, we say no and we don't budge. We shouldn't put our clan at a disadvantage, while we're just helping the other clan.

By Renoldojr10 on 15/06/2008
Yeah the compromising on the rules was at a low standard. We can come back. We really can, it just takes practice and organization as a squad. Hopefully we can restore some faith with a strong victory tomorrow. To see how we match up with other clans in our division and how we are ranked click here.

Thanks.

I really did not expect to finally get on the computer in New Jersey to see a post like this. I was expecting a congratulations to everyone lol. Oh well. Its not the end of the world. We just need to go back out tomorrow and do good.

Fuck Runescape Elites everyone. Do not dwell on this war. They are a bunch of punks that think they are trying to stay cool by saying they want to keep intact there "lifes" by saying they go to the pub on saturdays at 9 or 10. I am damn sure that last call most likely does not happen until 2 so they would have plenty of time after a war at 9 to go to a pub. Just want to say to not let this war effect you.

Good post, Dad. Let's rock them tomorrow and show them who's boss!

By Dav 13 on 15/06/2008
Good post it is .. im not down from the loss .. im just learning from it =p

Tomorrow re is going down k laugh.gif

By Zeth007 on 15/06/2008
This is a good way of learning what we did wrong.
Now we know.
Let's pwn them at the matched hash.png

By Yougunn1 on 15/06/2008
Great post Abs, Yeah we can definately learn from are mistakes and we should keep a good morale as that would reduce the pressure that we feel (and things like the TS being unclear won't happen). Keep the spirits up WG, we can own them.

our biggest mistake imo was, right when they rushed us, every1 was running around..
we should have had a fallin then, to recover from the rush, but every1 was running around, and by the time we were back on the track the gap was nearly gone sleep.gif

The matched opts gonna be hard, but we can do it wink.gif

By Cpjuk2us on 15/06/2008
Well as you all know this was my first war with WG and although some of you seem to be beating yourselves up this morning....

I thought it was awesome! Ok so the organisation was a little off, but the members who could wait out the extra time and come really tried hard you could tell by the swarms of members heading to each pile call.

RE have the high combat lvls, the snipers and the organisation, no clan can give them an inch if they hope to at least attempt a win. At least yesterday they weren't binding randomly which they usually do, just binding everyone piling.

Many clan's have problems binding when each and every time you pull out your fog gear your losing a few pizza's, this I expected.

I didn't expect a lact of snipers from WG though, that was a surprise. I would have got my binds out alot more often if there was an anti-snipe team backing me up.

The TS was ok to start off with, towards the end when we were down to about 15 members is probably where it fell apart but at that point I'm pretty sure you'd all agree with me that we'd lost and were just 1v1'ing it.

The inf run was a huge help for me to keep up and seemed to last well into the war, if we could have pulled a few more members using it we could have gotten a few more early ko's.

I should be around for the matched today but as i'm a new member I honest don't mind watching it through the orb's for the fun!.
