When did you first hear about WG?

Just wondering.

I first heard about WG back in about 2004-2005, Loved it, thought there was no better clan, there still isn't come to mention it.

Heard about it while 95 combat joined TBL trained for WG. Netstorm and elliewood were around then

Lol, I heard about it through lordy. He came up to me and he was ranting on how he hated pkers and such. I was bored and accepted his offer to join his clan that him and his brother were starting.
...... 5 years later, still here.

Heard about it from an irl friend

Technically, I first found out about it when a horde of guardians lead by Lordy himself came swarming over the demon ruins yelling "WG on ere!" I doubt anyone remembers since that was a good year before I actually joined up; I'd known Powerman24 ingame since '04 and he referred me. Later on I put the two together and nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

back in 2004. Made friends with this guy at the east varrock mines. He told me about this clan his rl friends started called the wilderness guardians. So i went to the website he told me to go to www.wildernessguardians.com

man and now i'm here. we were a bunch of lvl 75+ back then lol now we r like ownage

It was all the nice recruitment topics around, and because my old clan (Wolfpack) were warring WG often.

I saw the recruitment topic on runerealm (I think) like in Jan 05ish I think. Then I spent the next several months training to the requirement. I remember I was really pissed because I had just gotten 75 and they got moved to 80 Anyway I ended up getting in June 05

I was a mod on a small RuneScape forum that was just starting up in November 2004 (Sal's RS Forums) and Gardner28 was another mod, rather high leveled (85?).

I clicked the link in his sig, which brought me to the first clan website. I read the whole clan history, browsed the pictures and hall of fame. Tried to join, but I was too low combat at the time.

I eventually forgot about WG for a while and founded my own clan, the Money Making Anti Pkers, which followed WG's principles. Among my 100 inactive members, I counted a few people who would eventually join DG/WG, such as Renegade3540.

Upon hearing from Sean Allan that the junior clan, the Descendant Guardians, had opened, I joined straight away in October 2005, at level 85.

Hmm I guess I first heard of WG only when I was in my first clan, Empire of Honour back in 2004. I think we were discussing about weird clan names then
Didn't know much about WG or bothered to find out about it 'cos I was enjoying my clan life at that time.

I learned more about WG only after this clan AC-ed our fight with another clan.. was in RSD at that time..

I found out about Wg in mid 2006 I think? I happened to ask Valdremia (he had been a clan friend in the clan I was leading for a long time) what clan he was in and he told me about Wg....

after about 6 more months I got tired of leading so decided I would powertrain to try meet the combat req's of 95 cmb + 85 mage, then what do you know they introduced the skills req's just before I joined

Now I've had a good 9-10 months of Wg and I have loved every moment of it
