Chappell44 and irc names

So I've noticed that Lauren has had a bit of an attitude problem lately, if something doesn't go her way or a mistake is made she blows up. Today Saad had only temporarily changed his name just as a joke and she told him a few times to change it to his rsn. Saad changed his name as he saw her getting upset but then she pm'd me.
What I tried to say to her before she logged out/turned her private off was that if she was concered about it, talk to Abs like she wanted to so that it's clear and people know to have their irc names as their rsn.
Looking at the irc now though I can see a lot are just partial bits of their rsn that new members wouldn't recognise anyway which isn't bad if someone can identify who the person is but I really don't think it's a kickable offence to make a small joke then change back after. New members will bond and relise what everyone's nick names are eventually but I'd like to know what everyone thinks. If it was the way Lauren is telling me to enforce it everyone would have names like Anatcrafter|Sleep when afk or something which is kind of long.

Yeah, well i was just messing around. We were in the bit discussion of newer member Deoxys32's name. I just thought it would be funny if i changed my nick. Which i changed it to:

Lauren came in a bit later, and i started talking to her just about some runescape stuff. She got a bit upset:

I did change it because i didn't want any problems. Then soon later, she got upset and just left.
As for what she was saying... I think short nicks are just Fine. Newer members can just ask if they want to know who we are. We should all be posting on intros, to let them know what to call us and all.
I honestly don't think i did anything wrong? Changing my nick to something else for barely 25 minutes?

Yeah, I don't recognize a few nicks sometimes.
But I agree, it's not a kickable offense though all new members should be encouraged to use their rsn

I'm actually pretty fed up with Lauren honestly... she makes it seem like she's doing us a HUGE favour by staying in the clan when she bitches about things not going the way she wants.
She needs an attitude change.

DZ put it too well. I remember when she nearly didn't come to war because she wasn't allowed to wear a team cape. She just has a bad attitude problem

I have no idea why you tolerated that Indiv.
If she had continued swaring like that when I was there I would have at least kicked her from the IRC and told her to buck up her attitude....
It is not an IRC rule that you have to have your IRC name the same as your RSN for the whole time you are on the IRC.....
Especially not for already well established WG members, possibly more so for new members.

She immediately started out using profanity instead of being nicer. There are other ways that would have been much more acceptable in requesting who you were, Saad.
She is getting much more of an attitude than is necessary, expecting that exceptions should be made for her and no one else.
This does lead into something that I would like... Some newer members, I have no clue who they are because they don't use anything even resembling their rsn. I had this problem when Sieggy (Knight War6) joined, and now it's more than one or 2 new comers. Sithofwookie is one of them.
