Attn: Raid Leaders

I want to know what you all think of this idea.

What if we try to lead by example? What I mean by this is to have us all hybrid even though we will still be doing fall ins. It is still very possible to lead when you have hybrid robes, you just have to switch to rune before the target is dead.

Do you like this idea?

If we had a great antisnipe, it wouldnt be too bad.

This can be done but it gets very hard. At times leaders already do get sniped. I think by putting hybriding into the mix it makes the leaders even more of a target. I have known in clans of fall in leaders being binders and it has worked very well for them seeing as they can bind the target and will make it easier to spot him.

I've been trying to hybrid... With varying success.... Um.. I'm not exactly a raid leader, but I try... And I've been training cmb?

We can surely give it a go, and see what happens, my worry is, leaders already get targeted, will hybriding make it worse?

Following on from Rob's point, if the current primary fall in leader is hybriding, that'll be the perfect target for the opposition. I think that the rest of the Raid Leaders (apart from first primary fall in leader) could bring hybrid gear and hybrid until it's time for them to step in to lead, then they would remain in their rune.

We currently try to make sure the hybrids aren't out in the open. If the current fall in leader hybrids, they'll be out in the open and sesceptible to sniping before then being piled.

The raid leader who does the fall ins would have hybrid gear when we actually have the pile set and hes starting to hug a wall. For fall ins his rune would be on.

I always hybrid, even when I lead. Especially if its not the war you organized or are the initial leader for, you should bind. Its extra binds and such which always helps. The help that you give for our piles outweighs the inventory spots taken up from the robes and runes.
