New Activity Check for wars

By Zlatan83 on 07/07/2008
Well some of you might have noticed when using SwiftKit you can kick multiple people.

This is my mini-suggestion:

Kick all people saying Actvity Check / War - Join #wgwilderness - before the war.

Then people would have to rejoin #wg and then go #wgwilderness

Let's take a sample today against Vr ; we pulled 26 people out of 53ish that were in #wg .

Funny part they all spoke AFTER the war.

If they want to be in #wg then they have to attend the war.

So , what do you think?

We could try having a system like with the lobby + #wg, how you have to join lobby before you join wg.

People would try evading this tho, but we can get a bot to kick people not in #wgwilderness every 5 minutes or something.

People would be very angry tho

If you want to kick people, fine. But please remember I stated before massing that I wasn't on rs, that I wasn't logging on, and that I was doing house work. I'm on IRC so that I can watch and be amused and socialize while I'm doing something I hate.

I agree with that the most, however yeah it would anger many people...

Not the point.
What if there are voiced people like Tabs in the same position.

Well I was more thinking of bigger more important fights like CWPL or RAW fights.

And besides they can just rejoin #wg .

Do not forget as well that ONLY official war's are actually mandatory, and personally I could imagine a system like this would be mis-used for Mini's/non-official war's.

Today I was extremely fucked off, I joined IRC and when changing my nick to busy (I actually only went on IRC to see if abs was on, then I had some work to do) and I got flamed for a "Bad attitude". I dont care how much you want more people at your war, if I am busy it means I have other stuff to do, and the follow up PM's that I got were just as annoying.

We really need to remind members that it isnt their job to hassle people to attend events, really it should be up to event leaders who will realise when it is and isnt the right time to hassle people.

Yeah Evil, Joe was getting on my nerves quite a bit with his "Oh they all have excuses" bull.

By Winddancir on 08/07/2008
Both QuikdrawJoe and Maddness990 do it. They both get on my nerves about it. Spamming or annoying those who aren't there yet.
